Enjoyed a date night at Jakes Steakhouse last night and it was MAGICAL! The steaks, as always, were incredible! We both asked for medium rare and they were cooked to perfection! The staff was absolutely kind and attentive! The restaurant is gorgeous and the ambiance was amazing. Thank you for another great night of service.

The food was excellent! Excellent! We had lamb chops, lobster risotto, creamed spinach, and oysters. Our drinks were good too. The waiter was very accommodating and sympathetic that we were in a rush towards the end. I can’t wait to visit Jake’s again for my birthday or another special occasion.

Jake’s was wonderful. If you’re a steak lover, this place I highly recommend. There drinks was amazing as well. Oh man, let’s not talk about the service. The service was top tier. Can’t wait to go back.

Jake’s service was very attentive. We haven’t been to Jake’s in years and food is still excellent. Filet mignon was tender and delicious and the hamburgers were also tasty. However the noise level can get quite loud but not unmanageable. Overall, we enjoyed the dinner and atmosphere.

My husband and I went to Jake’s steakhouse for dinner. It is a very nice neighborhood steakhouse. The food was good. The service was really really good. We would definitely go back.

I loved that the waitresses or just in general the restaurant made sure their guests were always satisfied and checking in on them and food didn’t take long. Consistent with checking with guests.

Very happy to have valet parking. Outstanding service. Delicious ribeye, awesome wedge salad, crispy onions and baked potato made for a wonderful meal. Enjoyed Boston cream pie and pecan pie for dessert. Bread pudding was just so so.

I thought Jake’s was a bit more fancy but to my surprise and enjoyment it was rather casual. Though casual the food was phenomenal along with the attentive and polite staff. I will be back in the future. Compliments to the chef preparing my steak to the exact temperature!

I specifically came this time for the Sunday Brunch. I had the omelet and it came with homefries and one complimentary Bellini. My husband had the pancakes with a side of bacon. Everything was so delicious and can wait to come back again!

We had a very nice time at Jake’s. The restaurant was packed and very lively. Service was excellent. We especially liked the French onion soup, tuna tartare, and the filet mignon. The sea bass (off the specials menu) was a little bland, but besides that we enjoyed everything. Look forward to going again soon!

I wanted to try something different in the Bronx. I didn’t want to go too far from home. So I googled and found this place. And it’s previous year it received a Michelin star so I figured why not what could be so bad . After this evening, Im really trying to understand how it could have drastically went from Michelin star to a restaurant, I would never go back to ever again not even for a drink.. nice ambience but it was freezing inside. It was as if I was outside without the wind. The service was nothing to complain about very friendly, as well as welcoming. We came during shift change, so we had two different waiters. We didn’t spend too much time with the first waiter. However, his service was acceptable . The second waiter wasn’t as attentive as the first ( the place was damn near empty), however, very polite each encounter. Overall, the service was good. I ordered calamari, and the Jake burger . The calamari didn’t taste seasoned. Just straight Panko or whatever breading they used. I sprinkled a little salt on it. I had the Jake burger… Reading is definitely fundamental because if I had known that the burger came between two slices of ENGLISH TOAST MUFFINS as well under seasoned, I would’ve never ordered it. The meat, however, was cooked well. The drinks could have been better… i’ve never had a Cosmo with pulp in it. They should definitely revamp the menu Just a tad. food is mediocre/ flavorless . I would’ve had a better time at a diner. I’ve been to plenty restaurants and I’ve never seen each item individually price separately cash versus credit on the menu. Have a separate price if you use credit now it’s one thing for the whole entire bill, but for each individual item.. kind of strange..
