   Crab shrimp cakes were very fishy, and our steak was well done instead of medium. I was burned bad! It was super loud in the restaurant.

   Steaks order reversed so my steak was per wifes order and her steak was cooked per my order. I ordered a larger steak. Offer of free desert was of no interest to us. Only positive was drinks from bar were very good. I feel we could cook at home and have better food and pay much less. Jakes is a never return restaurant.

   We had a lovely Mother's Day brunch. The malted waffle with berries and whipped cream was just what I wanted. Loved the mimosa also.

   I mean, it's not the worst? We did a brunch where two people got entrees and 2 drinks each, two others got only sides to eat, and with tip the bill was still over $110. I do like the vibe though.

   Excellent restaurant! Food and service, always top notch. Exceptional bar. One of Portland’s better restaurants.

   While visiting Portland for a few days, we had dinner at 3 different restaurants. Food was quite good in all, but what separated Jakes from the others was our server, Daisha. She is a true pro, friendly, efficient, organized. All courses and drinks arrived with appropriate timing, plates were cleared, silverware replaced. Extremely nice to chat with as well. Ask for Daisha!

   Historical Portland dinner house. Excellent salmon and tenderloin Also we had wedge salad and onion soup

    Never disappoints-good food and great service. Had their lobster for the first time and it was perfect.
