Service was terrible. Food was served cold, and an order was wrong. The drinks were really late. The bar was backed up, but even a coke and water took 30 mins. Server was seen chatting with an other table for 15 minutes. Our table had 3 people that work for other corporate chain restaurants, and were horrified with service and bar staff. Also, we requested not high tops because it was a celebration for a college graduation, but there we were right in the middle of the high tops in the bar side.

This restaurant is a great sports bar with plenty of TVs to view your favorite sports. The menu is great and the price was right. It was also not too noisy so you could easily talk with your friends/family/guests.

Great experience. The food was great. Service was above expectations. Our waitress was great and was always checking on us to make sure we were happy, which we were. We’re already planning our next get together at Jake N JOES and I have no problem referring anyone here. Great job Jake N JOES.

We ordered chicken parm and the noodles were hard and the chicken was dry, I had a burger, it was ok, but I did like the pineapple jerk wings, that was the only thing good, waiter was nice and kind and took care of us

This place is a steady positive. They have good food that’s not fancy and the waitstaff is always very nice. It’s a comfortable place to meet friends or bring your kids for lunch/dinner.

There were bugs (15-20 alive bugs and many eggs) in my lettuce. The manager didn’t care… he still gave us the bill and just took my meal off of it. We only had 2 beers and one other meal. He should’ve comped the entire thing…

Food is mediocre at best and absolutely overpriced. $21 for what amounts to be 12 chicken nuggets? Give me a break. The service is no good and every time I leave I feel like I got ripped off. Avoid this place. Mick Morgan’s across the street is 1,000 times better and you never leave irritated.

If you’re seated with Jose, ask to be moved to a different section. This was the second time we were seated in his second and both times were less than stellar, to put it nicely. This time we waited 10 minutes before our drinks were taken, and another 20 before we ordered our food. 30 minutes in and we just ordered our food. I was starving. Our food came out very quickly and was good - kitchen staff was great. I ordered wings tossed in sauce, which are always a little messy by nature. I asked Jose for one of those little wet wipes and never got one after waiting for about 5 minutes, so I went to the restroom to wash my hands off. While I was gone, he took the plate of fries I was still eating. Just miserable service. I saw him chatting and laughing with other employees while we were sitting and waiting for drink and food orders, which is on par with what happened that last time he was my server. I come to the Norwood Jake n’ Joes almost every Friday night but I’m considering finding a different sports bar because of this service. I’ve never had problems with other servers while there, just Jose.

They were able to accommodate party of 10 day I made reservation which was great. Now the bad - I was host to my family visiting from the North Shore. I picked Jake and Joe's to eat because they are normally good with service and have decent food. Not this time. Our server forgot to put in an order so one of our family members was without food. Then found out the wrong food was ordered. The food itself didn't taste good. I had fish and chips - fish was burnt. Chicken stir fry was gross and my kid refused to eat the mac and cheese. My kid loves mac and cheese. It's just Jake and Joe's mac and cheese didn't taste good. I won't be going back to Jake and Joe's. Very disappointing and embarrassing that I had my family eat there.
