Mother’s Day buffet: quality of food was not worth the price. The eggs were cold and tough, I asked if they can just do a fried egg and they wouldn’t. For the price, I would expect much higher quality food.

I made a Mother’s Day reservation. I didn’t realize it was a buffet. Maybe that’s my fault but I wouldn’t have made it if I knew it was a buffet. The price was $55 per person so very expensive and lots of the items were cold. I think it’s probably good on normal days where it’s a la carte but I’d steer clear on Mother’s Day.

We were looking forward to trying Jacoby's for Sunday brunch. We were lucky to find parking that wasn't in a huge puddle from recent rains. We were seated inside, and the noise level was quite unpleasant and it was very cold from the a/c. Perhaps outside would have been nicer. I tried the beef hash, which had a permeating sweetness from the bbq sauce that I did not enjoy, and had very little beef for the $25 price. My husband had the chicken fried steak and waffles, and wasn't impressed. One piece of the meat was very gristley. My daughter did like the avocado toast. The $12 small slice of strawberry cake was cloyingly sweet and tasted like it could have been from a box mix. Service was slow and my coffee was left empty until the end of the meal, at which point I no longer wanted a refill. Overall very disappointing, especially for the price.

Meh. Not bad, not great. If the price matched the food then it’d be at least 4 stars, but because you’ll be overpaying for average taste and portions, it’s a 3 star. Service and atmosphere was good, but only go if someone else is paying. Also, parking is a bit of a nightmare. They were out of valet parking so we had to park far away on the side of the road in the mud. Go early.

Fantastic Bloody Mary’s’, biscuits outstanding, Jacoby beef hash outstanding, smoked chicken miga ok( needed more chicken) . Service good. Overall very enjoyable

Went to Jacoby‘s for a dinner with a friend. The dining area was very chilly from the AC so we asked for it to be turned down. The waitress recommended we sit outside, which we agreed to. Unfortunately there were a lot of flies so shooing flies interrupted our meal a bit. The service was good and the food was delicious, as usual. Next time we will plan for cooler indoor temperatures, though.

Fantastic experience. The food, the service, was all way better than expected. Only downside was a couple of flies that were driving us nuts, but we were outside and that’s a bit out of their control.

We enjoyed our time but food was overpriced and mediocre. Steak frites $42 and not great. Mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese were highlights along with a great server.

dining area outside was very nice! food was good but my steak was tough and the migas were really soggy, but the flavor was there. my server was nice and took care of us well. overall liked the experience but the meal was expensive for how much food we got

Would not recommend for the food. Cute spot overlooking Lady Bird lake. Somewhat artificial pseudo-Southern-hipster vibe. Contrived, pricey menu. Service was perfectly fine. But food was definitely lacking. Extra-large, salty, dense biscuits with a sprinkle of runny gravy drizzled on top. Cold side of eggs. French toast turned out to be a super saccharine pound cake covered with a half cup of butter. Decent coffee and deviled eggs app. If you are planning a bachelorette party with a bunch of chicks from out of town, this will check the brunch box and you'll have some nice IG pics. Valet only. Nice idea, mediocre execution.

We did the Easter buffet and while the food was tasty, it was all cold. There was no fruit on the buffet just a small salad bar and definitely not worth the price.

Waitress was great. Very attentive and wonderful personality. The $28 chicken fried steak had too much gristle, which made some bites difficult to chew. The gravy was very good. The $45 steak was average. Asked for medium rare, and it arrived medium rare, so that was nice. The mash potatoes and frites were very good. Strawberry cake was very good.

Never like paying for valet parking to start! Had 5:00 reservation had to wait outside at4:50! Not a good start! Very hood old fashioned s! Chicken fried steak good! My burger had no taste! Fries and garlic iolite excellent!

It was nice but the service was really slow. The burger was delicious but the crab cakes were just average. There were lots of yummy things on the menu so we’ll go back to try other options.

Great find in East Austin - cool vibe, fantastic food and Cristie was a terrific server. Loved everything we tried/shared - scones (amazing), tomato tart/quiche, cheese grits, hash, salad. Terrific bloody Marys too. Will be back to check out the back patio.

The food was cold and I skipped eating. Luckily my husband gave me the waffles from his chicken fried steak and waffles. The waiter should have seen I pushed it aside and never asked me if there was any problem. We have eaten here 3 times but we agreed the last two times the service was poor and getting cold food was it for us.

Ona gorgeous day, sit outside! The ambience is perfect. The food was delicious and drinks were tasty. We had the brisket stuffed bread, pimento cheese, chicken fried steak, burger, mac and cheese and caesar salad for our food and the Old Fashioned, Mezcal margarita and Texas Fight cocktails. Also, there is a chocolate dessert and a strawberry cake that are the best way to end a meal. We can't wait to go back!

Food was good, really enjoyed the jalapeño margarita, noise was good in other sections but we were put in a smaller area where it was so quiet that I was listening to the guy at the table next to us chew the entire time
