The food was delicious and done exactly to order but the place was so quiet it was disquieting. It was too bad — but it was a Monday night and the hotel didn’t seem crowded so maybe we just hit an off night. The service was a bit casual for such an upscale menu.

Right about how great the steaks were, and how highly rated it was, the steaks were fair at best, they had no side sauces to offer you, Bernese, etc.. The extra sides were limited, I think they need to go across the street and eat at the other steakhouses to understand how people like the capital Grille and how they run their operation and what they offer.

I had the New York strip steak that was prepared perfectly along with some broccolini and scalloped potatoes. had the Creme brulee for dessert and an IPA for dinner along with the supplied bread that was heated nicely along with some butter. Great dinner, service, IPA. Highly recommended

Jacks was a great place to have a business dinner. Service was attentive and the food was tasty. Further it was quiet and one could have a discussion. This last point is a rare treat these days.

My server, Amal, was so sweet and kind. She made sure I had everything I needed, and made great suggestions. I was here for a solo weekend getaway, and my night out was perfect. The tomahawk pork chop was AMAZING. It was so thick & juicy, I barely got through half of it. Also, the Marilyn Monroe drink was delicious.

On the reservation, I wrote it was for our anniversary. Nobody said or did anything to acknowledge it. Some of the food was excellent, onion soup. Another was of poor quality, rack of lamb. Service was nothing special.

Outstanding service and cuisine, but very loud. I really enjoyed my Caesar salad and perfectly done steak, but the best part of the meal was the small dish of pesto served to go with the wonderful, fresh, hot bread. Yummm! I will be back! ATBster

It was quiet when we first arrived but filled up and became much louder as our dinner progressed. The server was good until the end of the dinner when she became much busier. We received someone else's bill then when asked to split it, she charged both to one card. She was responsive to correcting the bill, crediting the prior charge and splitting it between two cards as asked. She however was not responsive when asked for change for a larger bill so we could tip the valet. The food arrived drier than you would expect making us wonder if it had been sitting under the warming lights longer than it should have. We were disappointed in our visit.

We had a wonderful time at Jack’s New Year’s Eve. The food was superb especially the rib eye steaks, soft like butter and very flavourful. Their French onion soup is always world class. To make the evening perfect was Amal our server. I rate her the top server in all Orlando as she is up on everything and treats you like family. If you have not been to Jack’s Place go and be treated to an exceptional culinary experience.

The service was very accommodating but the food took a long time to come out to us. Most of us ordered steaks, they weren’t cooked as we requested, and the food was not flavorful. The cut of steak was large but it was as if they gave us all Ribeyes when some ordered NY strip or Filet. We had a birthday and the server told us a few times that she would bring a dessert for the special guest but nothing arrived. When we send food back it took a very long time. Also it appears that they all share the same kitchen in the hotel as there were items available not on the menu. There was not a clear distinction between valet while eating in a restaurant or staying at the hotel. You had to show your takeout bag to prove you ate at Jack’s Restaurant in the hotel.

Sorry I wasn't going to be in town on a Friday or Saturday was looking forward to having a caricature done. Other than that excellent choice everything was delicious even had some leftovers for the next day and they were just as delicious

We celebrated a birthday and we loved the quiet ambiance and decor, lighting. The service was excellent. The food was delicious: filet mignon and macadamia crusted chicken! Great desserts too. We loved the quiet ambiance to relax and talk during our dinner, enjoying quiet music. Great staff!!!

I had a reservation for dinner and my server was totally clueless as to when and how to serve a formal dinner in an upscale restaurant. After I ordered a cocktail to relax and enjoy, appetizer was served before even bread basket was served. Isn’t she trained in just some basic fundamental rules to watch patrons table before shoving in appetizer? When I asked her to take it back and to keep it warm and not to rush me for dinner, she decided to just check out and let me wonder for over 20 mns, never coming by to see if i am ready for appetizer. I finally had to call in manager Stephanie who is just AWESOME!! With a different server and extra cocktail thrown in, I had a lovely evening. I will be very disappointed if the management does not replace/ dismiss that server who confidently felt that she has the vested power to treat customers at her whim.
