Great food. Recommend the Branzino. Would have rated five star if not for the soggy/lukewarm fries and fairly loud noise level. Service was outstanding - thanks Shawn.

Holy Cow this place is Great! Oh and packed and the hottest reservation in Dallas because the Food, Service, atmosphere and energy is incredible! If you can deal with parking, that being a drag, you will be treated to the finest food: I had chicken francaise, tender chicken breast with a beautiful sauce, two scoops of mash potatoe and three asparagus spears. Unreal! (As I type this I just finished eating my doggie bag) she had redfish! Very delicious. Side of cream spinach! Unbelievably delicious. I had Caesar salad so great. She had dinner salad. Very nice. Manhattan is amazing! Top place in Dallas. She had French 75 Service was great! Kitchen on fire! The bar packed. Dining room full They need a bigger place. I truly do not believe all the high praise in newspapers and d magazine do this place justice. It is one of the Best in Texas

So sad this place disappointed the whole group. We were very excited about the opening know the food group and the usual level of service that comes with their restaurants. This place is not the same. Reservation was at 6:30, we were sat at 7pm, no one greeted us for 7-10 minutes after we were sat. Drinks were very under par for normal restaurant of this price taste and appearance, food was okay. Nothing to send home about. Our server made us feel like we were bothering her for anything we asked for. Our drinks were empty most of the time throughout the 1.5 hrs we were at the table. For dessert they bring a menu with pictures for items available. We ordered multiple and none were good, espresso martini too sweet to drink, coffee was served in a shot glass. Nothing made sense here. Unfortunately will not be back. No manager came to the table during our entire time in restaurant.

Wonderful experience! Food was good and the service was outstanding! Definitely a fan of this place and would recommend to friends and family.

Food (steak and fish) were fine except the branzino was drowning in butter after asking what was healthy. Sat near the bar and waitstaff kept clanging plates behind our heads so ambiance wasn’t great. All in all - nothing special but nothing offensive. Would pick somewhere else next time.

The place is beautiful - love the NOLA charm. Staff are so friendly and the food and ambiance was wonderful! Not rushed and really enjoyed the evening with our friends.

We picked Jack & Harry’s because we thought it was going to be New Orleans food. My father who is from New Orleans, and 95 years young, was disappointed that the gumbo did not contain any seafood. I would call it more nouveau or upscale New Orleans in that it is chef inspired and an interpretation of NOLA food. Everything we had was very good but don’t order the gumbo if you want seafood style, or BBQ shrimp like Manale’s. While it was very tasty, it wasn’t the buttery, spicy, boiled in butter, BBQ Shrimp like my grandmother made. The fresh raw oysters did have a unique twist with a vinegar and shallot sauce already in the shells. It was fabulous! It tasted like the bottom of the bowl of a vinaigrette salad where you sop it up with French bread. The wine list was impressive and even the least expensive was fine. I had the Cab and our son had the Pinot and they paired well with our meal. I had the porterhouse with my dad and my son and husband had the steak with scampi sauce. My son is very picky (on the mild side of the autism spectrum) and he really enjoyed his steak with the sauce, something he never or rarely does. The small salad was enough for two and the one side of their fried shoestring potatoes were plenty for the four of us. The only drawback was the price for us was not equal to our enjoyment of the food. I usually think of New Orleans food as unique, tasty and affordable. Finally, so I don’t end on a negative note, our service was admirable and you could see that the servers were well trained in fine dining. They seemed to enjoy serving the guests. There were lots of smiles and going above and beyond the normal. We will probably not return unless they change up the menu. But if you do go, and you’re not anticipating NOkA fare, then you will have a pleasant experience.
