Haven’t been to J-Prime since having children (2+ years) and it’s good to see the standard has not dropped there one bit. Thoroughly enjoyed the lamb chop lollipops (must order when we go) and the service was impeccable.

The food was fantastic, the service (if possible) was a bit much to the extent that everything seemed hurried. The biggest problem was that it was just too loud if you're wanting a quiet evening.

The service consistently exceeds expectations and the staff made our birthday girl feel incredibly special. The food was fantastic with all steaks prepared perfectly and all sides were delicious. I would definitely recommend the crab fried rice and lobster Mac and cheese.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at J-Prime San Antonio. It was our first time eating at this steakhouse. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Our waiter Christian and the rest of the wait staff and management were very attentive from arrival to our departure. Our steaks were perfectly cooked as requested. All the pre-dinner appetizers, sides and desserts were very tasty and delicious. Kudos to the Chef and staff. The ambience is romantic, except for the techno music. Smooth jazz would be a better fit at least for the restaurant section. Overall, it was a great experience. We plan to return and try their seafood.

This trip was a little off. No creamed spinach and steak was not medium. More like rare plus. Service started out good but went sort of down hill. Prices are up again. Wine prices are crazy. We will have to rethink our steakhouse of choice.

The food and service were both excellent and well worth every penny of the second lien I had to take out on my house to pay for the meal. Our only complaint is their choice of techno music and the volume at which at it is broadcast throughout the place. In an upscale restaurant like this, maybe a nice jazz playlist would be more appropriate. We’ll definitely be back just as soon as we build up enough equity in our home to take out another loan.

Our dinner was delicious and the service was excellent. We had Brad as our waiter and he knew the menu well and made great suggestions. Even though we kind of know what we like we chose a few of the items he suggested and they were great. We had the surf and turf and lobster bisque. Everything was cooked to perfection. And the remodeling looks amazing. And Of course I have to mention the managers always on top of things and making us feel very special thank you Mike ,Daniel,and Andres

I love the place but there should be a logistic adjustment in booking as it takes almost 1 hour to be seated.

Excellent place to dine! Our waiter Donnie was on point on everything for the evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food was delicious and dessert was great too. Drinks were outstanding just like the rest of the staff. Definitely going back to just dine or to celebrate a special occasion.

J Prime never lets us down. Mikayla provided over the top service - highly suggest you request her! We started with a dozen blue point oysters and the octopus ceviche. Both were outstanding and delicious 😋. Next, we both ordered NY strips. I’m not much of a steak person but J Primes steaks are so mouth watering good I wouldn’t order anything else here!! A true skirt flipper 👍. Both were amazing 🤩. Our sides were grilled veggies and scalloped potatoes- again they didn’t disappoint. To finish things off , crème brûlée for our anniversary … the perfect finishing touch. All around a five star meal & service! If you are looking for something special then treat yourself at J Prime!!

The ultimate celebration restaurant in San Antonio, The food is exquisite and the service impeccable. Not necessarily a romantic venue because of the noise level and brightness of the restaurant. But, was a great experience overall!
