I'd read the reviews...almost all 5 stars. It was confirmed last night. Seated per reservation, immediately greeted. Waters, homemade rosemary crackers. Server Karsten...incredibly animated and clearly loves the restaurant, taught us about prime, dry and wet cured beef and explained some of the other house specialties. Took our drink orders. They have an impressive selection (greater than any restaurant I've visited) of high end wines by the glass in 3, 6 and 9-ounce pours. Wedge salads were excellent, especially the home made dressing. My bride pronounced the lobster ravioli "the best" she's ever had (it's her go to at most fine dining restaurants), and my filet was perfectly cooked. Creme brulee and flutes of champagne were wonderful finishing touches courtesy of Carson to recognize our anniversary. Will return.

The staff were very friendly and on point. The food was awesome. Of course, this isn’t your typical 3 star restaurant. This is that special place where masterpieces are created and delivered fresh to your table. I highly recommend going here and treating you and your special someone to a dinner at J Michael’s.

First time at J Michael's. We took my mom For a Mother's Day dinner (the day after Mother's Day) and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely! The staff was so friendly! Management came by and checked on us and even chatted for a few minutes. Management was even on the floor helping the wait staff. My husband and I had the French onion soup to start and my mom had the meatball. (You only need one!) some of the best French onion soup I have ever had! My mom and I had the lamb on a bed of spinach risotto and my husband had the skirt steak. It was all AMAZING! All cooked to perfection and the portions were hugs. Fantastic value for the money. We had the crème brûlée and bread pudding for dessert. Once again, DELICIOUS! My husband had the blood orange margarita that I tried and we both loved it. The wine list is extensive and they offer high end wines by the glass... J Michael's is now added to our restaurant rotation! I cannot wait to eat on the patio on a cool evening and enjoy some wine and apps! Thank you for making it such a special evening for my mom!

First time at J. Michael's Prime and enjoy the food and service. They are very accommodating and friendly. Meant the owner who found his way around checking on the food and service. They went way beyond making sure our night was perfect.

First time dining here and went for brunch on Saturday. My girlfriends and I were celebrating a birthday and mother's day. Had the perfect table outside on a gorgeous day! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were shaded from the sun, put our flowers in water, mimosa's flowing...unbelievable the level of service! Food was amazing with several of us having Eggs Benedict and Croque Madame. Based on our experience, we're meeting for dinner there for our next outing!

We go all the time as we are super lucky to live only 10 minutes away. We’re also lucky to have this type of high quality restaurant in this area. It’s the best place for date night, brunch, or just a good dinner. Always on point in all areas- service, food, atmosphere ✅✅✅

Everything was top knotch from the service to the drinks and the food. Heather took impeccable care of us and had a drink specially made to my picky specifications. Our steaks and sides were all cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, then there was dessert - truly the icing on the cake! Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly but not over attentive, it was an absolutely perfect dinner!

J Michael Prime is one of our favorite spots for date night. The food is amazing and the service is always wonderful. It's definitely a splurge for us and we don't go often but we always look forward to it when get the chance to go!

We really enjoyed the attention from the staff. Very friendly and attentive! It was an excellent experience from setting the reservation and then calling the restaurant to ask for something special, to arriving and being treated like a Kind and Queen. It was awesome! The food absolutely delicious! I had the dry aged steak and my wife had the scallops bedded on Risotto. yum-yum

The tables were very close together leading to an ambiance that lacked intimacy but the service and food was spectacular. My wife has an onion allergy and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that she was able to enjoy her meal with confidence that she would not have any issues.

We had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The homemade rosemary crackers were amazing and we really loved the homemade blue cheese dressing on the wedge. The steaks were delicious and the brussel sprouts were to die for. We will surely be back.

Not the restaurant’s fault, but the parking lot was so full the valet wouldn’t even let cars pull in. We had to park across the street and walk.

Food was delicious. Had the blackened black grouper. It was delicious along with the rice served with it. Brussels sprouts are always delicious. Husband had a NY strip and he loved it. Heather, our waitress is top notch.

My husband always gets the filet. Last time I ordered the lobster tails & this time the lobster ravioli with a side of brussel sprouts! Everything here is always absolutely delicious! It is worth the drive to enjoy a wonderful atmosphere with amazing food! We drive from Chattanooga just to eat here.

We went to J Michael's to celebrate the anniversary of our friends and to order the Monday night special of a fried chicken dinner for two. As usual, everything was outstanding. The chicken dinner is worth driving miles for......simply outstanding! Service was also perfect.
