Excellent option for business lunch in Coppell/North Irving area. Tables a bit close together for confidential convoSeating options for bar, hightop, booth and table. Interesting cocktail menu. Salads were perfect lunch portion.

Made a reservation for the bar area for Easter brunch and they were able to move us to the patio with no problem. Packed house and food and service were both great! We will be back.

Went with my husband. He got the meatloaf and I got the chicken tacos. We were both very happy with how our food tasted, it was just a strange experience. Our food came out suspiciously fast. Now it wasn't that crowded when we were there but when I tell you it was as fast as a drive thru fast food, that's what it felt like. It was tasty, but I was wondering the whole tie if everything was previously made and just microwaved at time of order. On a saturday night, we thought it would be packed so we made a reservation. When we got there only 2 or so tables were being used (some people sat outside).. Also the menu that Open Table has for them, does not match the menu at the restaurant (for example - no nashville hot chicken, and a few other things) .. Overall tasty food, but a few things made we question it. We may be back, just not that frequently

Unlike most restaurants you reserve on Open Table, which just put your name on a list that seems no shorter than their regular list, they actually had a "reserved" sign on a booth when we got there - a HUGE gift since I was on crutches. Our waitress was prompt and attentive without being annoying. Perfect for brunch!

We've been for weekend brunch, the place is happening, energetic and good. This time was a week day lunch, the place was almost empty. Service was still good and food came out fast. We had a grilled cheese, a burger and a bacon & avocado sandwich. Everything tasted fine. I'd go back, but probably on the weekend. The energy seemed to be what I was attracted to the first couple of times.

10 of us had great meal within our corporate budget. Service excellent. Fresh veggie burger instead of a frozen patti goes a long way.

I've been to J. Macklin's Grill four times now, and each time was very pleasant. The food is delicious and atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant, and always look forward to going back.
