Izakaya Akatsuki is a family owned Japanese Restaurant in Gardena, California. Owner is specialized in hand crafted Japanese noodle called Udon & Soba.
We serve freshly home-made Udon & Soba for lunch and we also have choice of delicious fresh Sashimi bowl. For dinner time, we'll become Japanese Izakaya Restaurant which we serve small plate appetizers with our signature original cocktails and many choices of sake. Hot Pots are also available at dinner time. Please come and enjoy our brand-new Japanese menus!

Nice ambiance and good food. Busy place and service was ok. Good place to go to for something authentic or for a party, but not recommended if you want something classy

Highly recommend dining here. Flavorful, authentic, well-prepared dishes. Service can be a bit slow when they're slammed with customers, but overall, a must-try. We will definitely be back!

Been there for lunch several times and the food and service has been excellent. The Nabeyaki is delicious and their lunch specials are a great deal, especially the spicy tuna bowl.

Great casual restaurant with very relaxed atmosphere. We had a family gathering at one of their private rooms and had hotpots and a bunch of side dishes. We really enjoyed the dinner!

You can't go wrong with their udon. Beef katsu was tender. The salmon collar was delicious.i recommend this restaurant.
