Dinner was delicious (Spagettini Nero, Bucatini). Our server, Anthony, was an attentive pro, and so nice to talk to. Would go back if it wasn't closing soon! )-:

Food here is always top notch. We are so sorry to see them close. We have visited IE often but tonight I tried. Their signature short rib and love it. My husband had his favorite rigatoni , also excellent . We shared the potatoes, with plenty left over and the citrus beet salad . I will surely miss that!

I love this place. Favorite restaurant in all the twin cities. So devastated to hear the news of its closing.

Fantastic evening. Excellent food and drink. our waitress Erin was awesome. Paced her service to the pace we wanted. Not rushed-very relaxing and wonderful.

Many thanks to Kiersten C for a lovely evening. We were saddened and stunned to hear the news of IE's pending closure. It was wonderful to enjoy "one last meal". I so appreciated the gluten-free veggies to accommodate our desire to order the charcuterie app. Her red wine recommendation was perfect - bold, full -flavored. And we both enjoyed our sumptuous entrees! If only we'd had room for dessert!

Always love our experience at i.e. It’s one of our favorite restaurants. For this specific experience, they kept trying to clear our plates (continuously) and got a little annoying

Reservations needed for Friday evening but we were seated quickly. Our server Adam was great, mussels and wild boar meatballs were delicious.

We loved our experience at Italian Eatery. The service was excellent and attentive (thank you, Erica!), the food was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We will definitely be back. The only downside was a noisy environment that made it difficult to hear everyone at our table of four. I guess that's the price you pay for a well loved restaurant as the place was packed from 5:30 on!

Monica and Erin are outstanding servers. We always request them when dining at IE and they exceed themselves each and every time. Great job on the recently added Mahi-Mahi entree. So delicious!

This was our first time dining at ie. Adam, our server, was excellent. He described items on the menu in detail and provided attentive service. The food was delicious. We had the meatball appetizer, bolognese pasta, and short ribs. All of that was shared between the 2 of us and it was plenty, but we did have to try the tiramisu for dessert . Looking forward to a return visit! The decor and ambience are lovely, too.

This place is simply amazing! We had a drink at the bar while we waited for our table to order food. Scratch kitchen and our pasta was awesome! They have gluten and dairy-free options and are extremely accommdating and knowledgeable! Highly recommend!

Walked in about 10 mins late to our reservation due to no available parking - instead of the hostess being welcoming, she made us feel guilty for being late and told us she almost no called no showed us. The staff then made a big deal about finding us a table.. It was awkward and very unprofessional. Our drinks took a while to receive but overall our waitress was very nice and good. Once we got our food and had just finished eating (one person in our party was still eating), a different waitress came up and very aggressively asked if we were done/she could take our plates. When our one friend said she wasn’t finished eating, the waitress then circled our table and cleared the plates as soon as she was done. We felt very rushed, and all in all it was a disappointing experience from a service standpoint.

We had one of the most outstanding meals in a long time and the service was excellent all around. We sampled from each category and shared between the two of us. It was truly an evening of food as entertainment!! Such a delight. And the leftovers…..

Food and Service were excellent. We have been there many times over the years and not once did I go home disappointed. Frankly I wish they were my neighborhood restaurant because I would be another one of the regulars. Driving from Minnetonka is a bit of a drive, but well worth it!
