MY NONNA’S NAME WAS ISOLA, A WONDERFUL COOK WHO GAVE ME A PASSION FOR FOOD AND FRESH, SIMPLE INGREDIENTS.

I have vivid memories of my grandmother turning plain bread into amazing desserts, simple apples into incredible fritters sprinkled with a little sugar and honey, and even treating my sunburns with olive oil. Thirty years later, I still savor every meal and moment.

Isola is proud to serve the finest local ingredients, dalla vite, from the vine. I hope you enjoy every bite, plucked from my family tree for your table. Buon appetito!

Great food, great service, great experience. We eat low carb and we had lots of choices especially on the antipasto menus. Low carb in an Italian place is hard to do but not here.

Five of us dined and all enjoyed the delicious food. Calzone was a favorite as well as a gluten free pasta dish. Everything made from scratch, and excellent, friendly service. Highly recommend!

Isola is an absolute gem in Little Italy. The service is superb; the ambience is delightful; and the food is exceptionally good…and all at at a great price. A truly wonderful experience on every visit.

We were there to celebrate our adult son’s birthday. Service and food were outstanding. We were also surprised with a birthday tiramisu for our son that tasted like a tiny piece of heaven.

Menu looks amazing. However, mussels had a bad fish taste. The eggplant was bland. I asked for red pepper to add some flavor and extra bread. Both never came. Very disappointing.

We always have a great experience. The food is amazing. The steaks, salmon, best pizza in town, all the appetizers are amazing, and deserts as well. Above all the people that works there are amazing. Excellent service.

Usually we get excellent service, but this night it was pretty bad. We had reservations, we were on time, got seated immediately and then waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged, even the man refilling water glasses passed us over, tho he looked right at us a few times. Finally our order was taken, the pizza, Margherita, which was tasty, but was brought out BEFORE the appetizer, Burrata e Carciofini, which did not have any capers on it like the menu listed and we’ve ordered this appetizer many, many times before, the capers really give it extra flavor. It’s a shame we had a bad experience, this was one of our favorite places to dine.

Great dining experience with excellent food menu. My pizza was quite burnt, but still delicious. The melanzane was superb as was the focaccia. Delightful house wine from Langhe region in Italy.

Isola never disappoints. We had just been to a new Italian restaurant in Little Italy a few days before but ended up right back at Isola! The food and service never disappoint!!

I came here on Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend we had a reservation for 815 we were immediately sat and within 5 min the waitress came over. The drinks were great the woodfire pizza was great, and the value .. 2 pizzas 2 alcaholic bevvies and antipasti all for under 100 (tip incl) entire dinner from walking in to walking out was under 1 hr. We will deffinately be back

I was seated at the bar, and the issue with that is...the bartenders themselves are extremely busy. This is no fault of theirs. They were working like crazy. I waited 25 minutes for the bill, because they were inundated with work. Bear in mind, I had a reservation. Now, if I was a walk-up and seated at the bar, that is one thing. But, if you have a reservation, I think you should be assigned a table and an actual server. I wouldn't have even minded being seated at the bar, as long as there was an actual server. As far as the pizza itself, it was a little bit charred for my taste. It was edible, and I enjoyed the toppings. I am a huge fan of Margharita pizzas, so I am used to a little bit of char that comes along with the ovens. But, this one unfortunately crossed that thin line, which took it from a nice char to burnt taste. That said, aside from the burnt taste, the flavors were quite nice. I would give it another try in the future. It may have just been an off night.

It was really good. The Pizza is a lot of bread with meager toppings. One of the slices was like 80 percent crust because of how “rustic” the pie was. The flavor was great, however $22 for a pie that was mostly crust left a bit more to be desired.

Lovely restaurant with varied menu. The gnocchi was superb. Can also just have multiple antipasto choices if you don't want heavy meal. Salads and brushes take very good.

Isola is one of my favorite places in Little Italy. The happy hour is fantastic with a margarita pizza for seven dollars and a glass of wine for five dollars..and many other great choices. I must say that the loveliest part of going to Isola is the wonderful ambience and service. Marco, Stefano, Alessandro, Jesus and many other staff are so attentive and kind…put all of it together and you have a great experience. I call it my home away from home. Try Isola…I believe you’ll love it as I do.

Waiter was dismissive and uninterested. Barely spent 5 min with our table. I could understand if he was busy, but he spent most of his time gabbing with other staff.

We got stuck on the sidewalk up against the busy India street. Loud and noisy and the restaurant was playing bad techno music. Food was not good. Service was pleasant and they were not able to put us inside. We won’t be back albeit I am sure the pizza is good if you can eat inside or take out. Arugula salad was good

Love the food at Isola. For some reason the service was off on Thursday. I’ll still go back tho. The shrimp polenta appetizer is so delicious and their pizzas can’t be beat. We went before a show. Great first stop to a fun evening.
