At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. You'll find an abundance of fresh herbs and only the best quality seasonings. Fresh vegetables are used throughout our menu, and all soups and sauces are hand-prepared. We are also proud to provide an excellent selection of the worlds best oysters flown in fresh for your enjoyment. In addition to our menu, our chefs prepare a varied assortment of daily specials that always add an element of interest to our every-day offerings.

Great experience! Dined outside. Drinks were fabulous and food was delicious! Definitely a great find while vacationing along the coast. Loved that it was on the water, Al fresco dining and its own private parking lot with valet option. Will definitely be back!

Have had great dinners over the last 6 plus years going multiple nights however this year the food was not great and the service was lacking. The only positive was Sergio at the patio bar, who is outstanding. The Shrimp Louie was not good and the Curry Seafood was not much better. Our Stone Crabs were great.

We somehow got in here on Mother’s Day with a 15 min notice! We are from out of town so didn’t know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with the free valet. Also surprised by the Mother’s Day buffet!! Everything was delicious and we can’t stop talking about it. They even had nice options for our toddler. My husband loved the oysters and I loved the sushi!!!! Thanks for a great experience!

We waited over 40 minutes even when we had reservations. It was so loud and the food was only replenished when it was completely out. They had food listed on their brunch menu that wasn’t there and the sushi was rolled so loose that you couldn’t pick it up without it falling apart. We were seated at a huge table even when there was only a few of us which made conversations even harder. We were practically yelling just to be heard.. It was difficult to get our food as well since there were so many people all fighting for a spot in line to get food.

I took my Mom for Mother’s Day brunch. I requested the outdoor patio with water view which was nice. The hostess and server were very nice. The food, however, was just okay. The cost per person did not add up to the value we expected. If you are okay with mediocre food but as much as you desire than this place is for you.

We went on Mother's Day and didn’t know the buffet had an up charge of $50 pp instead of $38 pp. Hostess quickly rushed us to our seats (like she practically ran) without the standard buffet walk thru information and even our server didn’t explain the buffet or the additional items that could be ordered. I love the buffet but will avoid holidays going forward.

Mother’s Day crowded but a huge smash for all! Glad we got there early as traffic backed up to causeway since it was valet parking only. Not sure that’s a safe solution. Wonderful food and service. Shrimp and grits perfect. Omelet station chefs were A1

Happy our Lunch was a great value for $20. Choice of entree with salad, bread, and dessert. Drinks were included on the happy hour lunch as well. Food was really good & service was excellent.

Had a reservation, asked to be seated next to a window with an ocean view inside. Hostess said we would have a view of the ocean from where she was taking us. Got seated at a booth where only one side looked outside, and the view was not a full one of the ocean view. Passed plenty of empty tables in front of the large windows. Should have said something but didn’t, we will next time!😡. Don’t know why people won’t give you what you ask for when they can.

Really enjoy their early bird menu. Assume it’s for weekdays prior to 530. Great selection and perfect portions. Had a great price food always taste terrific.

The overall experience was great. My wife had the filet and I had the meatloaf. Great portions of great food. We got there at 5:00 unaware of the early bird specials. We both ate full course meals with salad, dessert, & drink for $20.00 each. A truly unexpected pleasure. Food and atmosphere is always good!

Our server Jake was fantastic. I was disappointed in how the Supper Club menu changed. I had the Island Way Mahi Mahi Medallions These are not medallions, they were bite size pieces and maybe there were five pieces total in the whole dish. The Thai coconut sauce was excellent however the whole thing was covered in coconut rice Was way too much rice. Additionally it comes with a salad, was smallest salad I’ve seen Previously when I had this dish from super club menu, it was a piece of fish, Sea Bass, with veggies and small portion of rice and the salad was a normal size salad Still enjoy the ambiance of this place, however, not much incentive for early dinner Plus it’s now $20 instead of $18

Service was solid but the food quality - especially the sushi is not what it used to be. Many of the rolls were falling apart and the fish had little flavor. Disappointing as we’ve been coming here for over 25 years. We will give it another try but disappointed nonetheless.

What a wonderful brunch. We were so impressed with the food, our view of the water, service, and the warmth from staff. This was our first time there for brunch, and is exceeded our expectations. Cannot wait to return. We also had an Island Way Punch and loved that drink!

Our server was fabulous, although her name escapes me. We had a 11:45 reservation and things were popping when we arrived Due to the heat of the day, not many people wanted to sit outside. Out party of three had a short wait, and were seated at a lovely table overlooking the water. It was Cinquo de Mayo and they had some food items for the day All was excellent, from servers, to buffet attendants to Chefs S Ho were making omelettes and carving foods. We have been at least 4 times before, but even with how busy it was, , all food was hot, fresh, always replaced when empty. Thank you for the wonderful brunch my family and I enjoyed yesterday

It has a lot of reviews and a great rate, but it is overrated. The restaurant is cheap, and you get something according to that. The food is fresh, and the place is nice, but the plates are more like those from an eatery.

The calamari is out of this world—it's the best ever. Roasted Cauliflower and the Brussels sprouts are fabulous as well. We have been going for years, it never disappoints. Some of my favorites are the Shrimp, lobster, scallops pasta. Grouper Island Way Style or Wood Fired Grilled is awesome too. Pork Chop is plentiful and delicious. There is no bad or disappointing thing on the menu. The service is always wonderful. Nice views of the canals by the aquarium. Inside can be a little chilly, you may want to keep that in mind when you dress to go there. Dress is casual.

Ashley was our server. Ashley was very present on the floor, kept our drinks flowing, communicative and professional. She was a great server. All of the food was absolutely delicious, tasted of great quality. The hostess and greeter was very friendly, very professional and greatly accommodating. I absolutely love this establishment's brunch, definitely one of the very best in the bay!

I went there to celebrate my anniversary every was absolutely great. I had the ginger salmon and shrimps and my husband had the twin lobster tails.. everything was delicious.. i will definitely come back.. our waitress was also amazing!!

The filet was terrible, ask for an 8oz medium fillet , it was probably 5oz … a quarter of an inch thick cooked well done and no rush to make it right, the mashed potatoes were cold. Bruschetta never came out and when it finally did, the bread was cold. Lobster was good, lobster bisque was good and the Rockefeller oyster were pretty good. The sushi was great! Nosiest fine dining restaurant I’ve ever been to. We will not return.
