At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. You'll find an abundance of fresh herbs and only the best quality seasonings. Fresh vegetables are used throughout our menu, and all soups and sauces are hand-prepared. We are also proud to provide an excellent selection of the worlds best oysters flown in fresh for your enjoyment. In addition to our menu, our chefs prepare a varied assortment of daily specials that always add an element of interest to our every-day offerings.

                                                  Service, food and cocktails were very good. There was strong campfire like smell from the grill in the dining room. Not sure if ventilation system had an issue, but coworker said it wasn’t normally that strong.

                                                  Jake our waiter was excellent and so helpful. He didn’t rush our meal and everything was so tasty. Beautiful view outside, happy workers. Outstanding restaurant, we will definitely be back and telling everyone we know!!

                                                  Food was overcooked, took almost 70 minutes to get our entree and we ordered a nice bottle of wine and wanted to take the rest home with us but our waitress threw the bottle away. Not the best experience for a $500 for 2 people.

                                                  Got there about 20 minutes early but didn’t get seated until 15 minutes after our reservation time. The only thing is don’t like is having to go into another room for a plate and then have to go to the opposite side to get shrimp and oysters. They should have a plate table in both rooms. It sure isn’t like it was before covid. No crab legs and prime rib anymore not even on special holidays
