At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. You'll find an abundance of fresh herbs and only the best quality seasonings. Fresh vegetables are used throughout our menu, and all soups and sauces are hand-prepared. We are also proud to provide an excellent selection of the worlds best oysters flown in fresh for your enjoyment. In addition to our menu, our chefs prepare a varied assortment of daily specials that always add an element of interest to our every-day offerings.

Best brunch we’ve had in along time. Food and service were excellent! I’ve already told several people how great it was and how I would recommend it for any occasion. We definitely will be back very soon.

My wife and I dined in the outdoor patio, the noise level from the bar patrons was too loud for an enjoyable dining experience.

The noise level is high. Your oven was broken so we waited a while for bread. MY 4th time having the scallops and this time they were too breaded, too buttery and too cooked. My grandson found a piece of glass in his child's hamberger. He asked for an adult burger that was not frozen from a vendor like the child's burger but he got two over cooked children's burgers as a replacement. He was not comfortable eating them because there could be another piece of glass. Only compensation was his meal was free. He could have cut the inside of his mouth, or swallowed the glass!!!!!

We arrived 10 mins before our 11:45am reservation but we got seated at exactly 12:26pm because there were so many people. I did not mind the wait but I think it had something to do with because the hostess is prioritizing people who give them tips. I saw a man shaking hands with the hostess and gave her some change and she put that asap in her pocket. Next thing I know they got seated asap. I think that was a brilliant idea. lol The food was was great, server was great and price was very reasonable $38 which includes mimosa. We will come back again :)

We have been eating here for years on every trip to Clearwater for both business and pleasure. Never had a problem up until these last two visits on 06/08 for dinner and 06/09 for brunch. Hostess was less than welcoming on both visits- could overlook that up until became visually frustrated when a patron walked up And asked how much longer until her table was ready. I get it- I worked in a high volume ER and people with non urgent needs would harass us constantly regarding their wait times but we would always be compassionate towards the patients as we get it waiting is hard and frustrating for everyone. Service was not what we had experienced at past visits, everyone’s dinner came at different times we were never checked on our drinks never replenished and whenever we tried to get someone to help us we were told no problem and no one came back. We chalked it up as a bad night and figured our brunch would go differently- nope even worse. Needless to say not sure if the establishment has been bought out or under new management but won’t be back-

Portions aren’t overly huge but substantial, only complaint is the noise level because any events or busy Fridays/Saturday nights make it a little hard to hear. Not nearly as bad as live music tourist trap but going on odd hours and days is recommended to save your ears and wait times. Reservations are recommended. Service was pleasant but busy covering tables and smoke from the steaks nearly made me cry in the lobby. The food is 4/5 stars considering wait times and seafood/steak focus over pastas and things. Very hearty focused. Vegetarians are pretty much stuck with the salad option. Better than some tourist traps but still pricey. Definetely $$$/$$$$
