Charming place cool vibe. We enjoyed our food great taco salad. Make sure to sit in the front room for the best experience. Tiny cute bar vintage building.

Super convenient location for a show at the Royal Oak Music Theatre. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent.

Excellent overall experience. Prompt and friendly service with spot-on recommendations. Food and drinks were stellar. And prices were incredibly reasonable. Would return in a heartbeat, especially before a show at the Royal Oak Music Theatre.

I loved this place the moment we walked in. The host greeted us with a smile, and we were probably taken to our table since we had a reservation. The drinks and the food were amazing. We would recommend everything we ordered, which included the shrimp tacos, chips and salsa, fajitas, quesadillas, and margaritas. We highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely be going back soon, probably even before Cinco de Mayo.

My sister and I had a great time before a show. The strawberry margarita was delicious. They even crafted my sister a mocktail. The hard tacos were very tasty. The queso is some of the best I have had before, and the churros were the cherry on top.

Great ambience, and cocktails. Service was outstanding, and her food suggestions made our experience unique. We have been there celebrating birthdays or just to hang out with friends, like last night.

A very nice selection of tacos ala carte, plentiful and very delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice. We went a cold day and the temperature in the restaurant was perfect.

Great experience! I had a birthday dinner here and the staff was very kind and accommodating. Food is amazing as always just like D'Amatos. Chicken tortilla soup was delicious, definitely recommend.

went here for dinner and it was below average. the place has a great vibe but the food was bad. i had one taco that was as close to dog food as it possibly could be. but the place has alot of potental if you get the right food.

We enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Iron Horse. The hostess greeted us letting us chose between tables at the front or the back of the restaurant. We dined on IPA beer, traditional Margarita's and house made delicious taco's. Our waitress Tiffany was terrific. We liked absolutely everything about our lunch at Iron Horse. We will be back whenever we are in Royal Oak.

Group of 6 - One order was wrong, which was weird as 5 people at the table ordered the same salad, but they brought one taco salad out and the person didn't say anything, I think they were being polite. My salad was OK but the chicken was overcooked so I couldn't eat most as it was so dry and chewy. The spicy margaritas were a hit, but no one seemed to rave about the food. Also annoying they add a fee on if you pay by credit card - so be sure to bring cash if you want to avoid this extra charge.

Friday at 6:00pm Restaurant was not busy. Server was very friendly and fast. Crunchy Beef Taco was delicious, Baja Shrimp Taco was spicy and tender. Chorizo Taco had a deep rich flavor, but needed more casa cheese. My wife Chicken Enchiladas were okay nothing to brag about. Will try it again.

We had a reservation and were seated quickly. Our friendly server was initially prompt, took our drink orders and went the extra mile to check on the seasonal tap for me. We ordered a cup of soup to start that came out fast, but then there was a large delay between finishing the soup, our initial drink orders being fulfilled, and placing our entree order. Things did pick up after that and the food was delicious. In addition, our server comped a drink because of the wait time. It seems they might be short on servers, as many places are these days. We will return.

Happy hour and dinner before a concert. It was the perfect spot for great cocktails and yummy Mexican food. Excellent service as part of a great evening out. We will be back

The hostess was rude, and our waiter was awful, very nasty attitude When we asked him a question, he snapped back. The food was ok. The restaurant was very dirty, the floor was slippery like grease on it.

Mexican style brunch. Not too crowded. Noise level was pretty good - we could talk. Food was good and the service was great. I have never been to IH during the evening, but it looks like it could be fun. It has a nice vibe, being in a beautiful old building next to the RO Theater

The food was very good, but the service was a little slow. It wasn't bad service, but we had somewhere to be after and I felt like I spent a lot of time trying to get our server's attention so we could get the ball rolling. Overall it was a good experience, but prepare to spend a bit of time there.

Tacos were amazing, as usual. Gayle greeted us with a big smile and gave us a great window seat. Ricardo was so friendly and attentive. A great visit, and I know I'll be back soon!

Six friends had brunch prior to the Golden girls show and we couldn’t have asked for a better time. Ricardo was our waiter, and with the help of other staff they couldn’t have been any nicer to us. The food was delicious, the atmosphere wonderful, a great experience!
