The first thing you encounter is parking, it is limited, but it is Austin so it's expected. The street parking is limited too so it is worth considering an Uber. The restaurant has a great decor and atmosphere. It's a great place for a date night. The food was very good and the options were not your standard menu but not too far off the beaten path. A good mix of adventurous and comfortable. The staff was fantastic. I am not the most knowledgeable about languages outside of English, so it was really helpful when the staff explained the different dishes for me. Overall a great experience.

We chose Intero to celebrate Mother’s Day and it was a superb choice The accommodating host who helped us move our reservation to an earlier time when plans changed, the attentive and helpful staff and the delicious foods made Intero an amazing choice We enjoyed the house made burrata, the wayu carpaccio and focaccia as starters. All three were delicious and well balanced - my only observation would be that the burrata needed more bread (not just two pieces) We were all very happy with our mains: arrabbiata pizza, house bolognese, smoked Redfish ravioli and the saffron rigatoni, grilled rabbit For dessert the affogato and brown butter cake were the perfect ending for a memorable dinner

Mark the bartender was awesome and took the time to explain everything to us. The gentleman manning the pizza oven was great to chat with as it was cool to watch him make the pizzas and control the oven temperature

Really a wonderful experience overall. The staff was super friendly, helpful but not invasive. It was a great dining experienced that was balanced in all ways. We will be back again for sure!! Grazie Mille!

Had a really nice time here! The wooden chairs are a bit uncomfortable and in some spots of the restaurant it was very bright. Food was really good and thought the pricing was pretty reasonable. Will go back to try the pizza.

i went here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. the waitress was very sweet and gave good service, but the food was terrible. i got the redfish stuffed pasta with the lemon sauce, and it was one of the worst meals i’ve had in my life. for the price, the portion was tiny and i left starving. it tasted horrible too, like canned fish in a ravioli. the ambience is awesome and it’s a very cool restaurant, but i don’t understand the hype at all. maybe i got the wrong foods.

My husband and I had a date night here when they opened on a Friday. We had an amazing experience. Our server was so sweet and had great recommendations. The drinks complemented the food well. However, the food was definitely the highlight of our experience. Would recommend this restaurant for any experience. We ate indoors and enjoyed the atmosphere; since we were there on the early side it was quiet and very easy to fall into conversation.

Highly recommend, this is the best dinner my friend and I have ever been to in Austin. Went to Intero for a birthday dinner with a friend and we are effectively a restaurant kitchen's nightmare--- I'm vegan and my friend is gluten-free. So the two of us going to an Italian restaurant is kind of...an insane ask. As soon as we were seated, the host kindly marked up our menus so it was clear what was Vegan or GF or could be edited to be friendly for our dietary restrictions. We both had multiple options to choose from across the different categories of app, entree, dessert, etc. Seamless service, thoughtful responses to multiple questions about the menu, timely attention to removing plates and filling drinks, etc. Everything we ate was delicious --- the apps 'wood oven roasted beets' and 'charred cabbage', to the entrees of vegan herbaceous pasta and the GF bucatini, as well as the grapefruit sorbet, hazelnut with espresso, and housemade chocolates. There's not a single edit on the food that we ordered that I can think to make. From portion to texture to sauce level to taste to contrasts, it was excellent. Highly recommend, grateful for a lovely evening and dinner. Cheers to Rachel, our server for the evening --- knowledgeable, patiently answered our questions, the perfect amount of checking in, etc. Thank you!

Intero is one of our favorite restaurants in Austin, one of the only places we can say we are a regular at. Their modernized take on Italian cuisine utilizing locally sourced products is consistently excellent, and the wine and cocktail program is great. Of course you cannot forget those chocolates and desserts. Best of all, the staff and ownership are consummate professionals, super friendly, and always remember us. You can't go wrong here. Cheers.

Every single thing that we ordered from the Timballo, gluten free pasta, beet salad, to the mind blowingly delicious redfish were outstanding. For dessert we had the artisan chocolate truffles that are made in house. Terrific evening!

A unique farm to table Italian experience with some of the most thoughtful and balanced flavor profiles that I have had. I was even able to get a friend who would never touch a beet to fall in love with them. My friends and I fly in from all over the country once a year and make a point of always finding a night where we can stop by and experience some of the most pallet pleasing food sensations anywhere. As expected, the staff were also wonderful and as friendly as they could be. I wish there were more places like this.

They continue to prove why I consider Intero one of the few truly exceptional food and service experiences in Austin. The menu rotates and changes. There are always familiar dishes with new twists and new dishes on rotation. The menu moves like a clock, ever ticking forward, moving and progressing. Thank you for all the effort, it shows. Best meal I’ve had in a long time. The carpaccio was probably the best I’ve ever had. The roasted cabbage was phenomenal. Both entrees were amazing, the duck confit gnocchi and the bucatini. Butter cake was so rich and perfect. 10/10 will definitely be back!

It’s annoying when the least expensive bottles of wine are $60+ There are so many good wines that restaurants all over the world sell in the $40-50 range. The sommelier or whoever the wine buyer at Intero needs to do a better job, or Intero needs to not triple the price instead of doubling it

We came to Austin for the eclipse. As a celiac with other food allergies, it can be challenging to dine out safely. The staff checked the menu and showed us all of the dishes we could have (and share). This meal exceeded expectations. I had as good an experience as many Michelin star restaurants. My husband and I shared the beef carpaccio and gem salad both with intricate flavor and texture profile. The house made gf pastas were the best I have ever had. We had the rabbit sauce which was delicate and nuanced. We also tried the ragu which was a smoky twist on a classic. Our server, Ray, also helped to select a perfect wine pairing. We finished our perfect meal with an array of house made chocolates. If you are in Austin this place is a must go.

TRULY EXCEPTIONAL FOOD, SERVICE, and EXPERIENCE!! Huge shout out to Raechel. She was SO FUN, stellar, professional, loving, present and informative. I tried a new type of wine I had never heard of before thanks to her! The food kept getting better and better as the night went on. Delicious cabbage, amazing pizza, and honestly the best duck breast I’ve ever had! I also found my favorite dessert in Austin. Finally! Thanks again.
