Imad Alarnab was a successful restaurateur in Damascus with three restaurants, plus several juice bars and cafes. In the war, Imad's restaurants were destroyed and he was forced to flee the country in search of safety for his family. Making his way from Lebanon through Europe, Imad shared his skills cooking for other refugees, up to 400 at a time, and found even in the most challenging times, his passion for food and bringing people together to celebrate life was strong.

The service and the food was excellent. We ordered a selection of vegetarian starters and all of them were very tasty. especially the spicy aubergine and the cauliflower in yogurt dish.

The food is always excellent and the service is thoughtful and attentive without being intrusive. I find in many places service not so good these days but here they really care and that makes such a difference to the dining experience. The falafels are the best ever and so is the baklava. I always order and eat too must!! I highly recommend.

Overall was disappointed. Starter of hummus was nice but main came as still eating. Went for aubergine and lentil dish and texture was mushy and taste did not measure up. Maybe a bad day

I had the Express lunch with chicken and it was so tasty. I couldn't fault anything. The food was great and the staff are very helpful
