As expected for a tourist area. Nice building and neat ceilings. Crowded and loud noise. Food was good, smaller portions than average restaurant experience. Tables close together.

We had an amazing dinner! I had the pesto pasta with Burrata was out of this world!! Also, the table side Tiramisu was delicious!!!

Waiters and waitresses need to have better attitude it felt like they were working by force not happy not friendly… we were rushed to place order. Most if the things we asked and wanted to order we were told not available anymore!!!! Menu needed to be updated. We booked based on the menu on the open table app but none of them were on the actual menu 🙄🙄🙄🙄 horrible service to a point we wanted to leave before even placing the drink order!!!

Not the best experience, food was warm-not hot, server was busy and hard to flag down, never came back to our table until he brought the bill and removed plates. overall was “ok” experience. Couldn’t recommend

I have a "bad" review for this restaurant. But; I commend our server, she was great! My complaints are multiple and focused on the facility. First, it is not fair or accurate to describe this facility as located "in the Venetian." It's merely one of dozens and dozens of small eating facilities in the canal shops. To make matters worse, this restaurant is merely the evening activity of a small pastry shop of a totally different name not listed on your OpenTable reservation. THERE IS NO SIGNAGE OR MAP FOR THE ACTUAL RESTAURANT you are reserving in OpenTable as "Il Restaurante". As a result, after over 15 minutes of searching for the name and the location of "Il Restaurante", I had to call several times and overcome the noise and banter of the background canal activity to determine the location and "real" signage for the facility. Second, I saw none of the "elegant interior, adorned with soft lighting, stylish decor, and subtle hues, set[ing] the stage for an intimate and memorable dining experience" described in the OpenTable summary. The pictures of quaint, semi-private tables are deceiving. Instead, prepare for eating in the clamor and noise of the outdoor, public area of the canal. Apparently, to reserve the "elegant interior decor," you have to call separately for "private dining" reservations. Third, because the principal activity at this place is a pastry shop, the "outdoor" tables are tiny, and not large enough to effectively serve two evening diners. None of the OpenTable pictures show the "regular" ground floor public dining facilities you are reserving with OpenTable. I won't be back, and caution diners looking for a quaint, quiet Italian restaurant to look elsewhere.

Hello I have been to many Italian restaurants and I am not a person who does reviews but for this restaurant ITS A MUST. I had the Caccio E Pepe pasta out of this world I have never ever finished an entire plate of pasta. Not joking it was so creamy and cheesy I probably will fly out to Vegas just to have that again! Drinks were also amazing and the appetizers 10/10!!!

It was fine. Pasta was good. Ordered a glass of Pino Grigio and loved it. Ordered a second glass and it tasted different. The server just told me they ran out of first brand and switched to different brand without asking/informing me. And then made me keep it even though I didn’t like it. Once again it was fine but not great.

Food was delicious. Drinks didn’t arrive until after we had our food. We had to ask three times before we finally got them.

Food was good, but it's super overpriced. We had reservations and still had to wait. I wouldn't go back unless it was to grab dessert to go.
