Loved our recent early dinner at Il Mulino Prime. My husband and I love to split things (highly recommend the specials: crab/shrimp stuffed zucchini blossoms, the heirloom tomato salad and the Sea Bass) and they accommodated us beautifully even bringing gratis digestifs to accompany our tiramisu. Personal, kind, attentive service--we'll be back!

A portion of my party was twenty minutes late and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Wonderful meal, great wine selections, intimate but not cramped. Would go back in a heart beat.

We always enjoy the ambiance and the food. Peter was a great server and was super attentive. They have a great wine by the glass selection for those nights where we want other drinks before or after dinner. They are on our goto list for great meals in SoHo.

Could not hear my friends due to it being beyond loud. Food was good. Noise made it difficult to enjoy the overall experience.

I really wanted to love Il Mulino Prime-SoHo since I have been going to their flagship restaurant on West 3rd Street since I was a young teen in the late 1970s. The pasta course and dessert were delicious, but the Veal Chop Parmigiana was a disappointment. It was not that tender and had an unpleasant charred taste to it as if the breadcrumbs on the understand had been burned. To be fair, perhaps their focus is more on the steaks but at $ 60 and it being Il Mulino, I was expecting the Veal Parm to be Much better than it was.

My husband and I have been going to Il Mulino for decades. We have gone to the West St and Midtown in NYC and Long Island location during those years. This was our first time at the Soho location. We always order similar dishes but something has not there at this Soho location. The food was bland. We started with cheap breadsticks which tasted like they were bought at a local supermarket and it wasn’t the exact experience we have had at the other locations with garlic bread and generous portions of fried zucchini, salami, and parmigiano cheese(we got these too at this location but tiny amounts compared to our previous experience). They were skimpy at best. Our entrees were bland, lacking flavor. Not sure if these deficiencies are due to location or post pandemic changes but we spent $290 plus tip and we could have gotten a better meal at Carmines. Disappointing. We won’t be back to this location even though the service was excellent.

There was only one server, so it wasn’t as attentive as I would like it to be. Also the salmon was undercooked. Server didn’t ask how I would like my salmon to be cooked.

Went for my wife’s birthday with a group of friends and family - largely because it’s near where we live and we pass it all the time. Food was good but not knockout. Service good and fun if loud room (at least at 8pm on a Friday). For the restaurant week menu it seemed a good value to us but the regular menu appeared IMO pricey for what it is

This intimate but vibrant small space has become a fast favourite for us. The food is consistently excellent, the people are professional, kind and attentive. The perfectly crafted classic cocktails are a bonus worthy of their own visit!

I came after proposing at a rooftop in NYC and Peter took care of us really well! Phenomenal server and amazing food. He also brought recommended amazing cocktails! Thanks Peter!

Another terrific experience at il mulino Prime. The team was very accommodating from Niko recommending excellent wines to the executive chef preparing a delicious off the menu appetizer. Always a good time!!!

Had the Caprese salad, parmesan encrusted chicken, Asparagus and Girard Cabernet Caprese was ok, Chicken was excellent, Asparagus was good, Girard Cab was excellent Noise level is high on a Saturday night Bill with tax & tip came to $115 a person
