We were here on Mother’s Day with reservations. We were seated immediately, which was nice. The food was good, and served in a reasonable amount of time. The noise level was high, and difficult to hear our conversation at times. The only issue I had was with the server, although attentive, began to clear dishes while one member our party still had a fair amount of food she was still eating. We were being rushed out, probably due to the busy day. Regardless, this is not good service nor is it something I expect to see at this restaurant.

I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary for the first time and it was amazing. We ordered pizza and a pasta and it was so good. The price is worth it with the amazing downtown view we had, sitting outside. They gave us a complimentary icecream with a candle! I was not expecting that, it was such a nice gesture. Great service from our waiter too!

What an amazing experience. Alfredo was excellent and the hostess was great, as well: food and wine and ambiance...couldn't ask for better! Definitely would recommend!

From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. The staff is wonderful and the food was delicious. By far the best Italian food in San Diego.

A little disappointed overall. Service was kind and friendly but slower than we anticipated based on other reviews. Food was hit and miss. The allies were very collect but the particular entrees we picked were a little under or over cooked. Great views and location.

Service was excellent. Server was very nice & friendly. Food was delicious. Sat on patio with our small dog - it was delightful! We enjoyed the view!

We got there a bit early. They sat us right away in the area I had reserved a few weeks back. The entire staff made our visit enjoyable. The service and food were as I remembered it: excellent and worth the drive. Will be back again

By far the best restaurant to have for planning any type of occasion! Atmosphere gives off an Italy vibe and just makes you feel alive. I know that sounds cliche but it’s the truth about that place!

Easter Brunch indoors at 1:30. Everything consistently excellent and as expected: appetizers, entrees, drinks. Fifth time at the restaurant, and we don’t live close by.

We had the best experience at I’ll Fornaio! From the food to the atmosphere, and the incredible wait staff, we couldn’t have been happier! We were a party of five and everything we ordered was delicious. This is a top-notch restaurant that I would highly recommend. If we are ever in the area again, we will certainly be sure to eat here!
