This beautiful restaurant is a short walk away from Madison Square Park, Il Fiorista means The Florist in Italian, where we explore botanical ingredients in our brunch, dinner, and bar menus. Much like Italian cuisine this allows for local and seasonal produce, we source from the Union Square Greenmarket and local producers. Il Fiorista is open seven days a week for dinner and aperitivo hour, also weekend brunch with indoor and patio seating featuring specials from our extensive wine list and cocktails. Also our private dining is available for large parties and events.

    Wonderful dinner spot. Caring service. We had a large group with a pre-set menu and I'd give it a thumbs up.

    First, the ambiance was amazing. A cozy, chic floral, mid century modern feel with a touch of art deco and wicker. Not to mention the groovy tunes playing lightly over the conversation. Second I’ll talk about the service. I was a solo diner and sometimes were easily forgotten about, but my server (also the host) was attentive as was the chef. They made sure I felt safe with my mango allergy and had no issue with any request I made. Last but not least, the food! I did the 4 course Chefs Tasing Menu. First I’ll say it includes way more food than I initially expected it to for a tasting menu which I loved. And the food itself was a journey from start to finish. Fruity floral notes in the first course, followed by sage and rosemary notes in the second. The salmon was a bit over salted so I did not finish but the skin was perfectly crispy. I got the desert to go but I would say it could use some floral finishing to tie it all together. All in all a 8/10 experience. 8 because the over salted main course and no floral ties in the dessert.

    First time dining at Il Fiorista, and I had a wonderful experience. The beet salad was absolutely beautiful. The cavatelli with spicy tomato sauce was delicious. And the chocolate lava cake was heavenly. The service was outstanding and the space is gorgeous. Look forward to returning.

    Very attentive and nice service. Food was very good with portions that were not too big, just about right. We were lucky it wasn’t crowded so we could easily talk without yelling. Lovely atmosphere !

    Francisco, our server, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. His suggestions were thoughtful and on point. We have been here before, but he really made our experience next level. Please give him a raise!

    Food was absolutely delicious, every bite was so yummy and stunningly presented! Interiors are absolutely beautiful! Staff treated us like royalty and was the perfect celebration for our honeymoon! We were served by Karena who was a total gem! I definitely recommend visiting! Worth every penny!!
