Very nice little neighborhood Italian restaurant. Nice change of pace from the bustle of the theater district restaurants. Accommodating staff, good service (though a bit scattered when they got hit with the dinner crowd). Serviceable Caesar, but a very good Carbonara. Will definitely return to this charming find.

This is a delightful little spot for good Italian fare. At 50th & 9th, it's close enough to walk to the Broadway theaters but far enough away to feel like a Hell's Kitchen neighborhood gem and not a tourist mill. Food quality is good, hospitality is thoughtful and attentive, wine and cocktail menu is plentiful without feeling overwhelming, and the decor is adorable. I discovered it with a friend and then brought back relatives from out of town the following week. Would definitely come back.

Great local Italian with prompt courteous service. Food is always tasty and reasonably priced for NYC. It’s our Sunday night regular eating spot.

New place for us. Started out excellent! The staff & service do a very nice job, they are so nice! Our appetizer was great - Bruschetta Al FUNGHI. My husband ordered the Branzino Al Vino E Zafferano. He enjoyed it - very tasty. I ordered the Butternut Squash ravioli in a Brown Butter sauce. Unfortunately this dish was not as described. Very large ravioli tasted good, but definitely NOT in brown butter sauce. The ravioli sat in a clear oil maybe butter, but NO taste & it needed a lot of seasoning. I left about 1/2 on the plate. We ordered the apple tart for dessert. It was taking awhile - finally another waiter asked us what we were waiting for. The dish finally arrived. It appeared to be a pre-frozen apple tart, served hot w/1 teaspoon of vanilla ice cream in the side. It was ok. Not sure we’ll try this place again.

Mediocre all around. Staff was friendly, but for the prices charged, need to step up their game. At no point did I feel like a valued guest. Food was not bad, but it wasn't good either. A tourist might confuse this place with a good NYC restaurant, but they didn't fool me. Save yourself and go to Il Melograna instead.

We enjoyed a delicious chicken paillard dish that came with salad on it and a wonderful tortellini dish. Service was efficient and excellent. We were able to get to the theatre with time to spare.

After a long wait to order, the waiter got my order incorrect. I ordered lamb chops and he brought out lamb shank and at first told me that it was a lamb chop before I insured him I knew the difference. Than I reminded him of our conversation that I wanted the lamb chops medium. Eventually, the lamb chops came out VERY RARE. After the meal the wait to get the check was about 20 minutes even after many efforts to get the waiter and also matre di's attention. To be totally fair, my dinner companions meal was really good and if I came back I would probably have that. I wouldn't count Il Divino out, but I wouldn't rush back either.
