Il Capriccio offers a number of options for private parties. Our Lombardy and Romagna private dining rooms seat 10-14 guests each. Sicily semi-private dining room seats 34 and Tuscany seats 30; combined they seat 64. We normally reserve private parties in Sicily and Tuscany on weekday evenings only.

Creative Italian menu, reasonably priced, delicious. Each entree was well-prepared. Especially liked the pasta with lamb ragu. Desserts were all out of this world. Esp the chocolate bomb.

Wonderful restaurant with fabulous food and wine list. Lovely space which is quiet and well structured. Service is excellent from the server to his helper (Juan Carlos).

So glad to see this back after a brief hiatus. The new location seems more spacious and brighter than before, and the menu is different but recognizable as Il Capriccio. I think this new generation knows how to do it - I hope they have the confidence to go for it and make their own twist on this classic

Our server was not paying attention to us for desert. Finally someone else came over to help us. Also we experienced the restaurant as very noisy. Yes it was full. Is there any sound deadening you could add. this will reduce our chances of coming bsck.

Fantastic!! Again! One of my favorite restaurants!.. My wife and I split the Kale Caesar salad and the Linguine Carbonara as appetizers — both delicious and were served sequentially as it should be. We split the Chicken Schnitzel, our go to dish we’ve been ordering for 20 years. Wonderful. Lastly dessert.. the perfect crème brûlée served with a small scoop of peach sherbet which balances the richness of the brûlée. And Henrik was once again perfect as our server, a true professional in the style of the best European waiters. Another great dinner at Il Capriccio!

Lovely restaurant with excellent service. I didn’t really like Fennel and Spring Greens soup. I found it too heavy. Friends enjoyed chicken schnitzel, and my husband liked his wild striped bass (a large piece). I ordered gnocchi with slow-braised pork shoulder ragu. It was a generous portion, but under-spiced and lacking flavor. Deserts were excellent. We shared the warm chocolate boudin and the warm basque cake with blueberry compote. Maybe I just chose badly on the appetizer and main. Would try again.

This wonderful restaurant has become my go to spot for taking my Waltham business team for a high quality dining experience. They really know how to provide great service and high quality appetizers, entrees, and deserts. On top of that they offer one of the broadest and deepest wine selections in the Boston burbs.

We come here often and we are always happy that we did. Menu has many choices and we had Tuna, Salads and other Appetizers and they were all great. Main courses included Veal, Halibut and Pasta with Shrimp and all were Excellent. Wines by the glass had many choices at reasonable prices and all were good. We can't wait to go back!

We've eaten at Il Capriccio numerous times and had an excellent experience every time. Last night was not great. The food continued to be excellent, but we were in a small room with an incredibly loud and boisterous party and our server seemed to forget about us more often than not. Our company had not been to the "new" location/restaurant and they were not impressed.

We had a very enjoyable meal. Our server was not very friendly but was pleasant. Didn’t like that all dinners did. of come out at the same time. Probably will try it again.

We sat at the bar and so glad we did - the bartender was a delight to talk to. And she made the most delicious cosmos. I highly recommend Sitting at the bar when she works! It was so enjoyable! Although I’m greatly Disappointed because I informed all that we were there for my friends 50th bday and not one thing was complimentary as a gift for my friends 50th. Why not? It was actually the day of her birthday. I even put it in the notes on my online reservation. You know it’s the little things like that that count and make a difference.

Food is always consistently great. Must have porcini soufflé and lemon mousse. Service from Anna was wonderful. Jan recommended a wonderful wine. Overall a can’t miss experience. Will keep coming back.

My husband and I dined here for the first time for a date night- honestly, the food was good, but definitely underwhelming considering the reviews, and highly overpriced for the quality and size of entrees. Our drinks were also very good, again just overpriced. Service was great, our waiter was attentive and everything came out quickly. I had the eggplant Vitoria for $33, it was a small portion and just okay IMO, and the side was just steamed vegetables, not even salted or seasoned in any way. For $33 I want to be wowed, and I just wasn’t. My husband had the braised short ribbed ravioli and he definitely enjoyed but also expressed how small a portion it was for $33 as well.

The food was outstanding, the ambience was very nice and service was good. I was happy to find that the quality was as high as I remember from my last visit, before it changed ownership. The gnocchi with pork shoulder ragu was excellent.

The food was top notch. We did have a loud party next to us which was not the restaurants fault and a server was slow to bring a glass of wine. Otherwise, it was truly a special meal. I like the new location and regret not having returned sooner!

We love the restaurant and have never had a problem with the food (I did pay attention to the reviewer who said the white beans were salty), the service or the ambiance. The wines are a little pricey but worth it for a celebratory evening. We had the venison and the sole—both delicious as was the beet & goat cheese salad. I miss the white tablecloths from the former location, but that’s my only, very mild critique.

Just not the same. Was seated at a floating two top - not anchored table and had waiter squeexing past me to get by- just off- Also the timing of everything seemed off- a push to ask for drink order- appetizeer came out too quickly - interuption etc

The food was quite good. Loved the porcini soufflé appetizer but it was not really hot in the center. Taste was fine. I had the veal (really good, but the white beans were too salty for me). Alan got the sole which was wonderful. I loved my affogato for dessert, and the apple crostada was great. Drinks and wine fine. All very good but not as good as il capriccio used to be in the good old days imho. Still, I’ll be happy to return.

Simply the best Italian restaurant in metro west. Great vibe and consistently excellent food. For apps, try the octopus and the tuna crudo. Don't miss the 1/2 order of carbonara. You're welcome.

Delicious dinner! Everything was cooked to perfection (even the little bouquet of side vegetables). Imaginative and expert cuisine. The lemon mousse was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The wine was superb.
