It was the BEST meal we’ve had & they’ve all been really good. We had heirloom tomatoes, tenderloin carpaccio , halibut with zucchini, summer broth, ricotta zucchini flower & smoked kale + ricotta with pistachios & agnolotti

This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. They have a great atmosphere inside, but we set out on the tree cover patio. We all enjoyed it!

We came for our anniversary dinner and had a great time. Thanks to the somme for finding us a white wine to pair with our lasagna, not an easy task but they got it done! The tiramisu is everything.

We have been here many times and II Brutto is by far one of our favourite restaurants in Austin. The margarita pizza amazing and all of the pastas are great.

My god... I parked in the garage they specified. Paid for something like 2 hours of parking because they weren't clear about how it worked in OpenTable, had dinner and left and went back to my car - left the garage 24 minutes late and got a bill via mail for $92 for going over my parking. Clearly, this place doesn't care about their customers and now I'm getting screwed out of $100 on top of the cost of my meal.

Food was ok, didn’t have good service. Was there celebrating a birthday, but our server barely said 2 words to us the whole time. Drinks took forever to come, then she took another 20 minutes before coming back to take our order. Halfway through our meal, she left us to serve the big bachelorette party instead. She never came back, and another server cleared our table and gave us our check instead. No one even offered us any dessert for our birthday celebration.

Excellent food, a few missteps during service (slow to get cocktails, waiter spilled water while pouring, wrong entree brought to table), and moderately loud on a busy Thursday. All still worth it though! The food and drinks were on point

The food was delicious! Our server was very knowledgeable, but I think the kitchen and the bar were running behind. Our food came out at different times. When we sat down it was a sunny breezy day, but as our meal wore on the breeze picked up and got cool. All the blankets they had were handed out, and no space heaters on the patio. (But it was late April!) Over all I would go back- the food was outstanding! And the server’s knowledge of the product was really helpful.

Mushroom pizza was very good my friend got the gnocchi and it had the most amazing red sauce. Would order this again. My husband and I got the Cacio E Pepe. Not a ton of flavor but pasta, butter and cheese. How can you go wrong?

Honestly just super mid. Probably the worst espresso martini I've ever had. The outdoor patio is beautiful with great ambiance, but the food is meh. Also the waitress sold us a bottle of wine for $70 that we later found out was only $20. Idk if that's normal but I felt bamboozled. Glad I went to cure the curiosity of the beautiful patio

Made a reservation for outside on a Monday evening. We were seated right away at a small table outside on the deck, which has a large tree that was dropping things on us through the entire service. We asked for something to cover our drinks to keep things from falling in them. Received a bit of an attitude from server because they were short staffed and apparently the bar tender was mad. Not sure why she felt the need to tell us that. It took 45 minutes for our beet salad appetizer to come out. Waitress acknowledged and apologized for the length of time it took, but again complained about being short staffed. It was not that busy. The beet salad was ok, but all the radicchio made it a bit bitter tasting. I ordered the lasagna which honestly was one of the worst I have had. The pasta was so overcooked it was mush. The meat was so overcooked as well it was crunchy and burnt. Was so disappointed and will not be returning.

Beautiful restaurant and fantastic food. We enjoyed everything from the cocktails to the desserts. We sat outside on their beautiful patio. The kale and ricotta pasta was the crowd favorite.

first of all, food was awesome. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about everything was cooked perfectly. What really made our experience amazing was the service. Jay and Liz were AMAZING. I’ve been here a few times and seen Jay and always remembered him as kind but tonight we got to really talk to him about food and the cocktails and he is super knowledgeable but also gives phenomenal suggestions and pairings. Also, the nicest guy ever! Tuesday is our weekend which is chill for most people but Liz and Jay both made it special. You can tell they care about every guest’s experience at their bar. We opted for the dessert wine pairing (don’t miss!) and were blown away. Jay also suggested a red wine pairing for our ragú, and I was super impressed, it was the perfect pairing for the pasta. Again, service was so phenomenal and Jay and Liz are exceptional!! The whole restaurant has a gorgeous vibe but we will be permanently sitting at the bar from now on thanks to Jay’s and Liz hospitality. Can’t wait to come back for tasty pasta and friendly service❤️

Food overall was very good. However, I was less impressed with the pasta. I ordered caccio e pepe - it was bland and the sauce had too much water and tasted pasty. Very disappointed as it is one of my favorite pasta dishes. Pizza was fantastic. Great location and ambience.

Charging 2 dollars for an ice cube in a premium spirit is ridiculous as is adding 6 dollars to a premium spirit to make it an old fashioned. These are stupid bar tricks that detracted from what was otherwise a very nice dinner

Server was very kind after some mishaps, I asked for my main to be rushed due to a time crunch and she got it out but it had cheese on it. She quickly sent a new pasta without cheese which was quite tasty, while also comping my drink. Inside volume was too loud on the music, will come back but sit outside!
