Took the whole family for a festive dinner before the Symphony with our grown children visiting from out of town. There's a reason we return to this place again and again. The food is always wonderful. The antipasti and radicchio salad kicked off a house made pasta feast. We had wine, we had pasta, we had charming banter with the warm and welcoming proprietors and left after two huge slabs of very freshly made traditional tiramisu. This place is what San Francisco dining used to be -- affordable, personal, genuine and delicious.

Very good find. Staff was friendly and enthusiastic. We shared a pizza and it was delicious. I would recommend the anchovies! This place perfectly reflects a “hidden gem.”

Il Borgo is an outstanding Italian restaurant. I have never found a poor dish. Great flavours and cooking. We go there everytime we are going to the Opera house. Its a few blocks away but very convenient.

Il Borgo always has excellent food, and this time was no exception. I love the "insalata del Borgo" which has a lot of radicchio in it which I adore. I always have a different entree, and this time it was scallopine al Marsala. Terrific!

Il Borgo is a wonderful neighborhood place with good traditional Italian dishes at very reasonable prices. It's best to make reservations as it is quite small.

A neighborhood gem, felt like Old SF. Homey, warm, welcoming, great food, nice bottle of wine. Surprisingly good prices, too. Try the lamb chops, well worth it. I’ll be coming back!
