We made a last minute reservation and we had a phenomenal experience. Waiter went above and beyond and made us feel like we were his only table. Food was unique and had a great variety.

Best restaurant in St.Louis! Involtini of sword fish was incredible. Stuffed with crab and shrimp. Mark was attentive and very helpful. We will be back soon.

Meals were just okay, nothing special. Seafood risotto, special of the night, did not have a taste to it? Another ordered red sauce with her pasta and got some sort of cheese-red sauce that was just okay. We expected foods like that found at Pepe’s Apt 2 or Napoli 2 or Lorenzo’s.

We had heard about Il Bel Lago from a former neighbor. It was their favorite restaurant. We tried it a few weeks ago and again this past weekend, and we were very favorably impressed. We will definitely be coming back.

Outstanding. Great service. There are plenty of good choices on the menu and the specials are always good. This is the best restaurant in St. Louis.

We have eaten there many times but this time I think the food was better in flavor and presentation. Always a great choice to bring family, friends or business patrons.

Beautiful restaurant, service and food are top notch. We went during the week, but it was still jam packed. SeaBass came over a delicious risotto. Had a corner booth which was comfortable and spacious. Can’t wait to go back.

What a delightful experience. The appetizer was mouthwatering Blackened Shrimp in cognac sauce. My entree was the best Lamb I ever had. Service was quiet and professional.

Wow, just came back from dinner on a Saturday night and they couldn’t have rushed us out faster. At 9pm the waiter said kitchen was closing, they were looking forward to a long weekend. For the price, I would expect much better service. Not sure I’ll go back. By comparison, and price, I’d go to Paul Mannos. 👎
