It’s a great option for excellent sushi in Hollywood - ambiance is perfect for a business lunch and also nice on a weekend. The premium Kaisen don and soft shell crab bao are standouts.

The best, as always. They are opening a hand roll place nearby, so that’s the next place to visit for us when we are not at Iki Ramen.

Fantastic service, sushi, bao's and ramen combine to make IKI one of LA's most welcomed new restaurants. The quality of everything here is incredible. Black Sesame pudding was great as a dessert. The rolls and sashimi were both exceptional. Dont miss the soft-shell crab bao. They even offered us complimentary sashimi dish! Easily my fave new restaurant.

Creative and delicious Japanese sashimi and Ramen dishes. Initially went for Ramen but found the sashimi, sushi, and rolls to be just as much of a focus by the restaurant. Fun sake selection as well.

Finally! An amazing Japanese restaurant in Hollywood. We have been to Japan a few times and this was very authentic. Loved everything about the food, and location. We will be back again soon.

Amazing! All around incredible. To start the atmosphere and location of the restaurant is stunning. High ceilings, minimalist clean interior, and the most friendly restaurant staff. They also feature an open air patio (Unfortunately was a bit too cold the night we visited to use). IKI Ramen quickly became one of my all time favorite japanese restaurants. The quality of the fish is off the charts and just melts in your mouth. We ordered a round of several dishes and had to ask for the menu back because we were so blown away. I find seaweed in sushi rolls to be overpowering at times, but at IKI they serve their rolls with soy paper wrap. I find that it highlights the quality of the fish and other ingredients wonderfully. Everything was an incredible balance of flavors. A great place to go with a group. Every section of the menu was perfection. Can't wait to return and try their Omakase. I think this would be a perfect place to try a curated chef menu. Highly recommend!

Always great service and high quality delicious food. All fish items sashimi ( hamachi, kanpachi, scallop carparccio etc), sushi ( butterfish, halibut, etc ) are super fresh. Mazemen ( mentaiko or uni with extra uni) and burnt garlic tonkatsu and richly flavorful vegetarian ramen are always great. Appetizers such as salmon burrata, seaweed salad are favorites.

Jeffery and his staff are just fantastic! Every time we come here we are blown away by the quality of the fish, the creativity of the menu, and the excellent service. So friendly and lowkey but perfect. Can't wait for their new hand roll spot to open up at the corner soon! Cheers.

The best food in LA, hands down. Try the uni Mazemen, the takoyaki, the pork kakuni, and any special sushi on the menu. End the meal with Shio koji ice cream. The omakase (incredible price) is also out of this world and makes most Michelin places look average. Sake selection is also amazing, given that the chef and GM (Jeffry) used to be the som and GM at n/naka.

Incredible incredible sashimi. Service was quick and very friendly from everyone. We celebrated our anniversary here and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It is a very intimate space and seating is near others FYI. Standouts were Toro wasabi (an absolute must get) Wagyu Tartare + Uni hand roll, salmon burrata, and the amazing Mentaiko mazemen - the broth less ramen with crab was INCREDIBLE. Everything flavor wise was on point. The spicy tonkotsu was good as well, but we would likely stick to sushi and the mazemen next time. So glad this spot did not disappoint!

Amidst the gated, boarded, and trash-filled streets of the Hollywood area, IKI Ramen sits in a cozy, modern glass box with excellent food and staff. The sushi tasted very fresh and buttery. I would highly recommend.

Iki Ramen is a restaurant for the freshest seafood and top quality ramen and mazeman again and again. I have brought a dozen different friends to them ( especially the Sunset location with easy parking qnd clean modern decor ), and everyone has always given high praise. My personal favs are salmon burrata with yuzu marinated tomatoes, truffle oil and seasalt - unexpected combination that totally works! Also scallop carpaccio, uni or mentaiko mazeman ( brothless ramen) with truffle and a little roasted seaweed ( and extra uni if you feel spendy). Burnt black garlic ramen, and vegan ramen are excellent. As is salmon bluecrab “nigiri” with miso. Fried squid… sashimi or any sort..

IkiRamen is one of the best restaurants in LA. Every part of the experience is wonderful from start to finish. I’ve eaten here 4 times at different times of the day and different days of the week, and each time, the service and the food have been exceptional.

We love this place! The seafood is always so fresh and delicious. They have unique flavor profiles. The Bao is always so fluffy and the flavor is out of this world! We got an old fashioned that blew my mind! Got to talking all about white oak shochu and black sugar. So cool! This restaurant sticks with me every time.

Food was delicious. Mostly known for its delicious ramens but also some of the best sushi I have had. We sat outside on patio which was very nice except the patio is in front of the restaurant on Sunset Boulevard . Traffic a bit loud, but still pleasant. The inside is a beautiful minimalist design with light wood and creamy colored interior. The small table lamps are such a clever and beautiful design and you could dim down or turn up the amount of light at your table.

Excellent meal. We were seeing a show in Hollywood so we decided to grab dinner beforehand. The service was friendly. We arrived early in the evening and had reservations. By the time we were wrapping up the place looked nearly full. Our sever answered our questions, made recommendations when we asked and everyone took great care of us. Food was very good. We both got ramen. I had the truffle butter tonkatsu. Since I was having trouble deciding between that and the burnt garlic our server brought a little dish of the burnt garlic sauce I could pour in my ramen to try that flavor. My companion also ordered sushi which was fresh and tasty. Our appetizer was the tuna tartare over crispy rice. It was sooo good. I could have eaten that alone for dinner. We also ordered edamame which was just right. The genmaicha tea was tasty and smelled wonderful. I finished with shio koji ice cream that tasted like salted caramel and had little crispy rice puffs. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and good for people watching since the walls of the place are glass and you have a good view of the sidewalk out front. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Soft shell crab bao is great, sushi was fresh and flavorful! My sushi came out a bit later than my date’s but other than that everything was awesome!

Overall great experiences. Just it took more than half hour just to wait the Ramen orders to come and I think they forgot ours until I reminded them

This place is a gem! The food is spectacular, the service is wonderful, and it’s just easy. A high recommend in every category. Favorites last night were spicy tuna on crispy rice (Iki version which is slightly different than others), Iki Roll, Blossom Roll, truffle ramen (split into 2 bowls), scallop sushi, salmon & truffle grab roll, and the ice cream with the crunchy stuff on top. All outstanding!

Absolutely the best ramen I’ve had in LA - the yuzu shio broth is light and savory. Hamachi carpaccio and seaweed salad were both delicious. Service was great attentive and friendly. Space is airy and well designed. This will be our regular place from now on.
