Mother's Day brunch had a reduced menu with hardly any breakfast type menu items. (Benedicts or pancakes). Disappointing at 1045 AM. Food that we did get was tasty.

The service was great. Sasha could not have been nicer. Had the Hanger steak and it was cooked to perfection. We like the menu and will be back to try another dish.

I really liked the food a lot. Would love a physical menu it’s hard to take my phone out with kids grabbing at it. Server generally didn’t seem very happy to be there but overall I would dine here again.

The food is excellent. I loved my steak frites and our burgers were perfect. The one thing I don't like is the QR code menu. I hate hate hate QR code menus, especially when I have my kids with me. I like to unplug when I go out to eat.

hey there, Happy to hear you enjoyed your meal. As we change our menu constantly (two new additions tonight alone) we have found tha it is more efficient and less wasteful to use a QR code. Another delicious meal at Idle Hour tonight! The hummus was heavenly; smooth and fluffy. Perhaps the best I've tried anywhere. The salmon entree was beautifully plated and every element was flavorful. The house burger was perfect, with a house baked bun that I would eat even without the burger it was holding. Service was friendly and attentive. It's become our favorite dinner spot!

The drag brunch here was phenomenal! Service ran like clockwork, efficient but very friendly. Tons of street parking! Great food, creative drinks, and gorgeous queens - what more could you ask for?!

Had a great experience at Idle Hour last night. Had the braised short rib gnocchi, burger, salmon tartare, roasted carrots, and cookie dough dessert, and all were delicious. Looking forward to going back. Drinks were very good too.

We had such a nice time here! Appetizers were fantastic, the drinks were beyond delicious! And we all really enjoyed our dinner. It was a nice to have a group of four coworkers at a nice place, great service, and really good vibes. Definitely would go again!!

The best spot in the neighborhood! Everything I've tried here is freaking amazing! The duck is divine and the short rib was heavenly. Friendly service, and the prices are extremely reasonable for both the neighborhood and the food quality.

Idle Hour is always an incredible dining experience, whether you are coming for brunch, dinner, or snacking your way through a night cap. Amazing food, great cocktails, and it’s right in the heart of Quincy Center. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Really enjoyed this place! Cool vibe. The music - and 80s and 90’s mix - was perfect! Our service was wonderful. Food was tasty and great selection of apps for sharing. Will definitely go back!

Our server was EXCELLENT and I had the shakshuka which was honestly perfect. Everyone else had pancakes (seasonal and traditional, both delicious) and a breakfast burger.

We were randomly in Quincy and swung by here for an impromptu dinner. Overall very impressed, the chef clearly knows what they’re doing. The menu is small but both of our dishes (the duck and the pork) were fantastic, especially at the price-point. Brussels sprouts to start were also standout. Interior and vibe were nice, sort of an indie gastropub feel, but the food turns out way better than you expect. Will return if we’re in the area again.

This was our first time having brunch at IH. My GF and I decided to sit at the bar because it was less crowded than the dining tables. She started with an espresso martini and I had a seasonal espresso based drink. She ordered the Shakshuka and I had the seasonal pancakes (brown butter apple). The drinks were excellent handcrafted cocktails and the food was freshly prepared and delicious. The pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s clear the whole crew at IH takes pride in delivering high quality drinks and food in a laid back environment. Will definitely be back for brunch again.

Worth a trip from the south end ! On a Sunday morning no traffic and it was amazing. Food great price ! Such a great place to go out to lunch/blunch, and we walked around some historical points on the trail. Only thing is they only have coffee. No decaf no tea. No cappuccino… and it was really cold in there so we wanted some warm things.
