Went for Mother’s Day Brunch. Only food choices were from the special menu for this particular day but that was fine cuz the food was amazing!Started with a pastry platter then we had strawberry gazpacho (fruity, savory with a hint of spice, phenomenal)and a Mediterranean salad. For the third course there were several items to choose from and each person in our group chose something different so we could sample different items. The 3 items we chose were the duck confit hash, the chorizo and pork belly hash and the crab cakes. All were excellent but I thought the duck was over the top delicious. I wish I could remember our servers name cuz he was excellent, very attentive. This was our first time to I.d. but we will definitely go back. Very highly recommend!

First visit was somewhat surprising. Very different in most every way. Eclectic display of art from wall art, ceiling art, chandeliers, table and countertops, and the unusual menu. Food was good, but we left hungry. Bill was high considering amount of food we received. Swung by the McD’s on the corner of 94/83 on the way home.

Each of our small plates were delicious, especially enjoyed the cauliflower salad! Our server, Megume, was very personable and knew the menu well, her recommendations were excellent! Love the ambiance at ID and look forward to returning soon!

The food was impeccable as always! It was busy when we arrive which is to be expected on a warm Friday evening. We were greated by a wonderful host who was very attentive and apologetic of short delay in our reservation. Once seated our server didn’t acknowledge our table for around 15 min. Our drinks arrived quickly by another server. While waiting another server brought out a flat bread to our table to which we quickly responded to “this isn’t our order, we haven’t even gotten to place an order yet.” She apologized and found the correct table for the food, then found our waitress and told her that we still haven’t placed our order yet. We were nearly completed with our first round of drinks before our server came back to finally take our order. She was all set to take our order, we were about to start speaking when she put her finger up in the air to stop us, said “Wait!” turned around and walked about for another 7-10 minutes. It is baffling to both me and my husband. At this point we were losing hope that we’d ever get our order actually placed. Once we finally placed our order, our food came out in very appropriate time increments, allowing us to enjoy each portion as we have become very accustomed to with our prior visits to I.D. As the evening was winding down, we were surprised with a nice dessert and champagne as we were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary which was a lovely touch. All in all it was a very good experience but our sever seemed less than attentive to our table which seemed off from the norm.

While the venue is good atmosphere, we were incredibly disappointed at our experience for our anniversary. While we understand places can have an off night we have never felt so unwelcomed. At this level of a restaurant one would expect excellent food they fell short. We specifically wanted a starter and to enjoy some wine. Our server insisted we had to order all of our selections at once which resulted in everything coming out quickly so 20 minutes after the start of our reservation the busser asking if he could box up our food. Didn’t get to enjoy the experience at all and not the way we intended to spend our special occasion. There are better dining options in Delafield than ID.

It was a Friday night and the place filled up fast. It was a little noisy and it took more to hear our conversation. The food was spectacular! The portions were sufficient for two people and we were satiated by the end of the meal. For as busy as it was, our service was still great. I would highly recommend id. Lots of locally sourced food, house made pastas and breads. It's a vibrant place to dine.

Although my entree was very good, they described as a morel mushroom and hazelnut crust. If the morel mushroom was invisible, and without noticeable flavor, why describe as such? I think the person writing the menu should edit his description and portray the entree honestly.

Excellent experience. Probably the best lamb we’ve ever had in Milwaukee, hands down. The whipped feta is delicious and the banana desert is the one to try. We stumbled up to our room for a quick one night getaway with full bellies of wonderful food! We will be back!

One of our favorite restaurants in lake country. The service and food are always outstanding. My husband is normally not a small plates guy but he loves it here. I feel like the portions and price are in line with what you get. The mushrooms on the menu right now are out of this world!!

We were in the private room. It was a great experience from a service standpoint. Server, Mike, was great from an engagement and educational standpoint. It was fun talking to him about some of our shared crossroads in life. Food is what’s expected, always on point. Thanks for the memories!

Beautiful space and amazing staff! We enjoyed our drinks, appetizers, salad, & desserts. Unfortunately, our entrees, lamb chops & seared duck breast, were disappointing. The lamb was almost rare and very difficult to eat. The duck breast was unevenly cooked - some slices were overcooked and tough and some were perfectly cooked and fork tender. Loved the Harvest salad and the Japanese milk bread with bone marrow butter. And, the cinnamon bread pudding with whiskey caramel sauce was the best bite of the whole meal. Love the shared plate concept and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, a fun date night.

It was a real surprise to have our first cups of coffee at the Sunday brunch. The coffee was excellent. We both had scrambled eggs and they were delicious. The toast and English muffins were overly greasy for us, but everything else was great.

We started at the bar with drinks and an appetizer. The feta and herbs appetizer was delicious. The service was great and everything was tasty. We had the cucumber cocktail and it was amazing. We moved to a table with a view of the kitchen. For dinner we shared the strawberry salad, asparagus, and scallops. Each was prepared to perfection. The wine that our server suggested was spot on!

i.d. is always introducing new tapas items, so it's always an adventure picking from the current selection. We tried seven different items all were excellent. The shortbread tacos were my favorite. Service was excellent too.

Loved the cocktails we had and three of the four small plates. The green curry shrimp flatbread was odd. We finished it, but the flavor combo of the ingredients seemed to conflict. I like snap peas but the flavor overwhelmed other ingredients, and I didn't get much curry flavor out of it at all. The pork belly bao was AMAZING!

Best burger I’ve ever eaten. Wife thought the same thing. Staff was amazing and made our date night special. The only thing we didn’t care for was the complementary cookie after our meal with the check.
