Service was really awful- took a long time to be seated with a reservation and a half empty restaurant. Took 50 min to get our food with dishes arriving at different times not allowing us to eat together in a sense. Zero anticipation of giving dishes, spoons, soy sauce,etc. then they brought us empty soy sauce without a drop and then didn’t give soy sauce cups etc. just really poor service, for so so blah food and then pressured for last call when they took 50 plus minutes to get our food to us. We will not return. Also not kids friendly- no options for kids. This is more so a college hang out type of place from the looks of the clientele.

Drinks and cocktails were really good. Sushi was fresh. Service was fine overall but took 15 minutes for the server to greet us. I would not order dessert again. Overall pricey for what you get.

Delicious sushi. Our collective favorite was the Angry Tuna with its smoky flavor. My second favorite was the Thai Tai. Favorite appetizer was the Honey Wasabi Prawns. SO good! Great cocktails and ice cream sandwiches were yummy. Free 3 hour parking in the attached garage (bring your parking ticket and they'll validate after your meal).

This is my second time to this restaurant although it has been a year between visits. We had a couple of appetizers that were mediocre. The 1st was the wasabi shrimp which did not have much flavor, the shrimp didn’t have a pleasant taste. The 2nd was pork gyoza which arrived and while it was cooked and tasty is was bearly warm. We then had two sushi rolls which were only OK, certainly not up to the level experienced at O-Ku or Sunda. The service was a little slow considering the restaurant was half full, not a good sign for a Thursday evening in Nashville. While nothing was bad about our experience there was nothing outstanding either. With so many choices in Nashville and the surrounding suburbs I don’t see us returning here.

Was very excited to go but ended up being slightly disappointed. In the reservation I specifically mentioned it was for a birthday dinner and they did not bring anything or even say anything. Also the sushi was pretty good but nothing extraordinary; I will say my boyfriend said the roll he got was one of the best he has gotten in Nashville (the angry fish) but I was not super impressed. The service was pretty good but since we got there right before happy hour they were very helpful to make sure we got happy hour prices and stuff ordered before it hit 7pm which was really nice! all in all the food was pretty good but nothing insane; def go during happy hour to save money though.

I came here to celebrate my birthday and it was very lack luster to say the least. Let me start by saying these were the absolute worse drinks I’d ever had. Definitely bottom shelf liquor. Which is disappointing considering we paid top shelf prices. We waited more than 36mins for all of our appetizers to arrive. Which came out one at a time. My friend’s husband is allergic to shellfish and we were extremely disappointed to find out they had neither of the beef options advertised during our visit which is what he banked on eating. I ordered the Dragon roll which is one of their most popular items. It’s advertised to have an entire lobster included. Imagine my surprise when my plate arrived with 2 empty pieces of lobster carcass without any lobster meat inside (I’m assuming the lobster was supposed to be included in the roll which was a joke). I’d save my time and money and go elsewhere. Unfortunately there was nothing enjoyable about my visit. We made light of the situation by joking about how bad everything was. If it wasn’t for our sense of humor this would have been a complete birthday disaster. I’ll stick to the sushi restaurants who prioritize quality.

First time here and really enjoyed the food. While the food was good, the portion sizes were smaller than expected and expensive. The calamari was insane- among the best I have ever had. The portion size was small compared to calamari appetizers at just about every other place I have eaten. The sushi was also very good. Between my wife and I we split three rolls. All three were great, but very pricey compared to other sushi places. Given the location, I was not shocked that the prices were lofty as many nearby places are similar. What I thought was insane was a 16 oz draft beer costing $12. I believe this was the least expensive draft beer option. I ended up ordering a bottled beer (12 oz) which was $8 if I recall correctly. $8 is expensive, but not crazy compared to many places nearby. $12 for a 16 oz draft beer is ridiculous. To be clear, all the draft beers were near this range and they weren’t anything special. Japanese beers/craft beers sure, but nothing that you can’t run into a grocery’s store or liquor store and find readily available. The other thing that struck me about this place, was how empty it was at 7 pm on a Saturday night. I was able to make a last minute reservation at prime time on a Saturday night which I found odd. There were also reservations available at every time through the night. When we arrive the restaurant was maybe 25% full and maybe 50-75% full when we left around 8 pm. This is strange for a place that had very good food at this time on a Saturday night. The service was fine- nothing outstanding, but also nothing bad about it. The only conclusion I could come to was portion size and prices. I would go back if someone else was paying or if either the portion size went up or prices down. To be clear, I am not morbidly obese or an over-eater. When I pay $15-30 per sushi roll for three rolls I want them to be at least average size rolls and $12 for a 16 oz draft beer is crazy.

This was our 3rd time visiting. It was wonderful as usual. Server was attentive and the drinks were delicious! Definitely recommend the red mango crunch roll!

Great spot for corporate events and or exec meetings. The sushi was good, nothing too crazy - but it had Nobu prices which felt a little too overvalued for what we tasted. Overall, great spot- but a solid 7.2 in my book.

Sushi was the best and our bartender Dakota was 10/10. Give this man a raise he was incredible! Attentive and made great recommendations. Had the Prawns as an appetizer and you have to get them if you go. This restaurant is a must try!

We liked the atmosphere and had very good service. The food was good but pricey compared to very good sushi that we have had in other cities.

Overall experience wasn't great. First, you have to park in a garage that primarily only has compact spaces. Good luck if you have an SUV or truck (this is becoming the new normal in Nashville). Someone had thrown up right in front of the elevator we had to get on to come down from the 4th floor parking. We understand this is outside the control of the restaurant but it did detract from the overall experience. The restaurant ambiance was nice and service was ok. The food quality simply was not good. Several of the rolls we ordered fell apart as soon as you picked them up. The fried rice with chicken had a very strange taste and the toro nigiri that my husband read was one of their best dishes was simply mediocre. Save your $$$$ and oder takeout.

Server was the best part. Friendly attentive and great attitude. Food was good but what bothered me most was paying a $25 cake fee and then cutting the cake myself!! So am I paying for you to store the cake for an hour… 🤷🏽‍♀️ I work in hospitality and I think a cake (cutting) fee is just a way to make easy money

Overpriced for the quality, service was slow, got our food before our drinks ever came, this place won’t last long if it hopes to compete in Nashville at its current price point without making some serious changes

You know, the sushi was pretty mid especially for the price. Server definitely wanted us in and out and we waited a long time for our drink (which my beer wasn't even full.). We both left pretty disappointed especially since it was our Valentines Day date and drove 35 minutes into the city to go there. Figured I'd give some honest feedback.
