Went to Icehouse specifically to see the band playing at brunch - Red Hot Django Peppers - who I enjoy hearing & seeing live. The venue had been updated since the last time we were there, no more bar at the back wall of the dining space. Our food was nicely presented and came soon after ordering. Place was not very crowded, but it isn't a huge space anyway. As vegetarians, I found a more limited selection to choose from, but enjoyed the housemade veggie burger and the breakfast sandwich plate.

Great entertainment,, great food, very tasty Bloody Homer. Extremely low light made it necessary to use phone flashlight to see the menu.

First time to the venue for a band so came early to eat. Had appetizers and food was great. As more people came for the band I saw our waitress taking care of the upper deck as well as the floor. She did a great job, but could have used some help.

We had the balcony corner (almost VIP like) seating for dinner and concert viewing. Excellent view and service. Our wait staff was friendly and observant. Great night- 2/16/24. Jake La Botz and band were awesome.

Service was the worst I’ve received in Minneapolis in a very long time. We were aggressively told “I see you. Hold on “ while waiting to order drinks. We were never asked if we wanted to order food. It felt as if we were inconveniencing him by being there. Will sadly not recommend to anyone again.

Love the Gospel brunch!! The service was hreat- just maybe a little slow at time, but was exceptional otherswise and understood if less staff available 🙏 Only other concern is parking is always a real challenge

Went for brunch and the options were great for both adults and kids (ages ranging from 3 to 9). Food was done really well and their brunch cocktails were great. Always love going to Ice House and it never disappoints.

Such a beautiful space to hear talented musicians play! We had the perfect table just a bit back off the stage. The food was excellent. The breakfast burrito with hash browns was plenty for 2 meals. The disappointment with the experience was the shortage of service people. Staff was nice but very scarce. The people next to us waited an hour for their food and coffee. Overall, we loved our experience there.

I have been to Icehouse repeatedly over many years and always had a good experience, so was really disappointed with our recent brunch. I ordered the breakfast hash that comes with potatoes, peppers and shredded pork. The potatoes and peppers were mushy and tasted old -- like something that has been sitting too long in the back of the refrigerator. The shredded pork also was dried out, lacked flavor and tasted old. Two people in our group ordered this dish and we both had the same reaction. Neither the server or host asked about how we liked our food, perhaps they wanted to avoid getting any feedback. The restaurant was also really cold and the service was very slow. I'm sorry to say I think Icehouse is past its prime and should be avoided. I certainly won't be going back!

I felt the ambiance was excellent, some amazing art, great jazz band, good service, great stage set up, but the food was not that good and that was a let down. I would go again, but the menu was really not appetizing to my tastes.

My friend is very picky but we both thoroughly enjoyed the food and thought it had a New Orleans vibe to it. We even asked our very thoughtful waitress Lizzy to send our compliments to the chef. Hearing a live jazz trio for just a $5 cover seems like a nice bargain and made for a very enjoyable evening.

Such a great time! Wonderful music, cool vibe, delicious food and amazing drinks! We brought out of town relatives, including some high schoolers, and everyone enjoyed it immensely. Shout out to our server, Lizzie, who was great! Icehouse continues to be one of our favorite places in the Twin Cities. ❤️

Food was good - esp the fried green tomatoes. Better come when a band is playing music you like. When we went they had some experimental Jazz group playing. At first we thought they were just tuning their instruments until we realized that’s the music …

Absolutely LOVED the Icehouse. Went to Blues Brunch and had the honor to watch Legendary 96 year old Cornbread Harris perform. The food was out of this world delicious, and the staff friendly and welcoming. Loved, loved, loved this place!

I love brunch with the Dolly's. I have been 4 times and yesterday was no exception. Great crowd and they all seemed to know the band. Rumor has it they going to discontinue the monthly show which is a real pity. I warned my guest service was not going to be great and as usual I was right. Why are there never enough staff. Two servers in that giant room with a crowd. It's reservations so you know you're going to be busy. My party would definitely have had a couple more rounds of drinks but alas no server. Not her fault at all just too many people. Pity if money is the issue because a lot of missed opportunity yesterday. I'd say we'll be back but without the Dolly's I doubt it.

The atmosphere, music and bloody mary were great. I had the brisket hash which I was glad to see back on the menu but it was definitely missing something. Was a bit bland compared to its previous incarnation. That being said, other food I've had (breakfast burrito, strawberry french toast) has been excellent.

First time seeing live music here or being here at all. Balcony seats were mint viewing option we choice. Great view and upstairs service was great. Self service water station a great touch. I will be back.

Good food but expensive for both size of portion and options. Went for a dinner jazz trio and spent a good deal of money with only one adult beverage. Would return for the music not for the food . Good audience attention for the musicians with the exception of a couple of tables, who were oblivious !

Ice House food is not nearly what it was pre Covid (but what did Covid not change)?. Lately though the kitchen has stopped providing one of its post-Covid hits -- the green Chili & Pork stew is no more. For us too there are too many vegan dishes. I guess Ice House has embraced its late night music venue for vegans. Too bad for us.

It took 45 minutes for a server to even come to our table. We ended up going to the bar to order drinks and waited an additional 10 minutes for someone to come to our table. We would’ve left, but we were there for a show. We had to return to the hostess stand to, ask if we could place an order. Our server said that she was the only one in the main room and although we understand that made it be difficult icehouse should staff appropriately especially on a Saturday night. The show was fantastic the food and service were horrible. I recommend the venue for a show, but make sure and eat before you come!

We were there for Sunday brunch on a gospel concert day. The new layout is great, the food is outstanding, and the service is top notch. The recent updates are really well thought out and effective. Brian and team know what they are doing. Need to bring back 2 things, the Pickle Jar and Metal Tuesdays!

the brunch experience at Icehouse is always wonderful, this time was no exception. I will say my food was not hot though...it came out fast, which is great, but at the expense of it being luke warm. I would be ok with it coming out less urgently for a warmer meal.
