Head Chef and owner of I Monelli, Ivano is a passionate and truly Italian chef with many years of international experience.

Before settling here in Dublin Ivano worked in various Michelin star restaurants and 5 star hotels around the world, preparing exquisite recipes in Italian, French, Spanish, African and Irish cuisines.

Great restaurant - very authentic Italian food at reasonable price. Restaurant can be a little noisy. Lovely attentive staff.

I Monelli is very atmospheric, and used to be a much better place to dine. On this occasion, the service was chaotic and disorganised, and the dishes, particularly the main courses, sea bass (reluctantly filleted) and chicken in a mushroom cream sauce, were nowhere near the standard you would expect in a Dublin restaurant in its price category. We were hungry but neither of us cleared our plates. Perhaps the experience would have been better if we had stuck to pasta?

Nice restaurant with friendly and professional staff. Good wine list. Had Xmas menu so options were limited. In a very quite residential area. Tables over 2 floors. Overall a nice experience.

First picture was today and second picture was a month ago. Big difference in portion size.

The staff and food were excellent and made my birthday very special. Christmas menu had so many options and all our food was perfect! Couldn’t recommend more especially for a special occasion!

Food was good and service was lovely. It was very cold at our table though and we were asked to wait outside in freezing cold as our table was not ready. Ask for a table upstairs when you are booking.

Very cute restaurant. Service was excellent and the food was really good. Also good wine selection which I really appreciated coming from South Africa. We had the burrata and calamari as starters, and beef cannelloni and ravioli as mains which we enjoyed. Great ambiance too. Will be back.

Nice pastas in an good atmosphere, correct service and quiet ambience. The canelonis are real close tô my infance Memories!
