We are farmers and distillers, making Husk Rum and Ink Gin on our beautiful 150acre family farm.

Husk Rum is a rare style made from farm to bottle using the finest quality freshly crushed cane juice grown and bottled at Husk Farm.

Ink Gin is boldly unconventional, sparking conversation & making people take note. A true original, Ink brings colour & art to people through gin.

Visit Husk Farm Distillery to learn & discover our spirits, enjoy good drinks and food and relax and connect to this ancient land.

The Husk Distillery Bar & Planter’s Kitchen is open Wednesday-Sunday from 11am with a full cocktail and lunch menu available until 3pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends (subject to change), and an all day menu available until the kitchen closes.

We are open Mondays & Tuesdays from 11am. Join us and enjoy small plates and grazing boards off our all day menu and have a full choice of tasting flights and cocktails.

Chose to come here for Mother's Day and loved it. Food is excellent. Unfortunately table service was not up to usual standard, but can be explained by the day we chose to come. Most other tables were on a set menu but we chose a la carte and were slightly forgotten about. Waiters and waitresses very apologetic. Was a rainy day so didn't get to use the lawn like we would have liked, but still a lovely day.

We had a lunch at Husk, chose the long roasted lamb shoulder, pumpkin potatoes and salad. Food outstanding , but I thought it was a little on the pricey side. But it was all cooked to perfection. Drinks were great and service very helpful and friendly. Great vibe. We will definitely return. Just wish they would put their mushroom dish back on the menu, best mushrooms we have ever had.

The property is such a beautiful spot & a great destination. We did the shared plates from the menu & all dishes were delicious & a good amount to share between 6. The let down for Husk was the bar staff & the service - absolutely terrible. It was mid week so not overly busy but took so long to receive drinks & had to ask a couple of times & go to the bar to collect. Very disappointing & needs to be addressed.

Husk Distillers Cellar Door is a wonderful place to gather with friends and family for a cocktail, a picnic in the lawn or lunch. We had the most delicious lunch paired with a fabulous selection of drinks. The chicken and eggplant dishes were superb and everything else complimented them perfectly. The setting is beautiful and ambience always lively but relaxed.

I arranged a table reservation for a work function, including myself and a group of my employees, three of whom have disabilities. Since my request was somewhat unusual, I preferred speaking to a person rather than booking online. Although it was challenging, I eventually managed to connect with someone on Friday afternoon. The person I spoke with was friendly and helpful. We scheduled dinner and a tour for 4:00. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the kitchen had closed at 3:00. Despite this setback, we managed to order large tasting plates, potatoes, and salad, which sufficed. It would have been preferable to have been informed about the kitchen's closure in advance. Nonetheless, the tour proved was excellent. Our young guide was friendly and very informative. Thank you.

We arrived to a warm informative attentive welcome from our waiter but unfortunately that was the end of that, he never came back to take our order for drinks or food. I embarrassingly had to flag down another waitress to take our order. Our starters arrived promptly still having not received our drinks. Waitress came back to clear starters and ask if we wanted our mains and I indicated that we still hadn't received our drinks, appropriate apologies and would get sorted. Mains arrived still no drinks - 40 minutes from when we sat down our drinks arrived.... We so wanted it to be a different experience but unfortunately it was a huge let down, the waitress did apologise and explained that it was due to training of staff, I completely understand that ....however management needs to make sure staff who are training are being properly supervised so that it does not impact the level of service.

The welcome we received to this beautiful establishment was excellent as was the information on the various menu items both food and drinks. Despite the threatening weather we were very comfortable in the covered outdoor seating area.

Had an amazing day with my sister and daughter, loved the picnic style, food was incredible especially the fresh bread yummmmm. Cocktails we had were amazing taste so good . Overall experience was sensational and I’ll be back again soon.

Great menu which is well explained by staff,excellent service,lovely drinks also and nice quiet country setting. Can be dropped off at the door and nice sized carpark.

We enjoyed gin and rum tasting paddles, along with a delicious Ploughman’s platter & the chargrilled chicken. Very enjoyable afternoon!

The food was delicious, great for sharing, the staff were fabulous with their advice as to how much to order so we didn't over order.

We had experienced the outdoor setting for evening paddles on a previous girls' weekend and have been longing to come back and try the food. It did not disappoint. Indoor options were available to accommodate the shelter from the heat or in our case the summer rain.

My only negative comment is that it was a long time since i have been and wasn't sure what external dining set up was and it was forecast for a lot of rain. Luckily it didn't , but was not clear on outdoor dining and weather protection. However it was all ok with the main undercover area perfectly sheltered. The umbrella tables would have been a bit wet if it had rained. Might be able to improve communication on this , and its a bit hard with a large group, and when you pay in advance knowing whether you will be ok outside . Overall the experience was excellent, the staff were nice and food / drinks excellent ( Although $14 for a non alco drink is a bit much)

The venue and staff were amazing. The food is very over priced with minimal selection, in saying that it’s a distillery not a restaurant i get that.

Lovely location, even though it was a hot day it wasn't too bad near the fan under the roof, we did want to be on the green but it was too warm. The salad was amazing!

We had a warm welcome as we arrived and were seated near a fan as it was quite a humid. Couldn’t fault the friendliness of the wonderful staff. Will definitely recommend others to go and enjoy this relaxing place to enjoy good food and drinks in the countryside. Thank you

Food and setting were great. Ink Gin was exceptional! Staffe was a little flaky. We had pre paid for an extensive lunch that was not mentioned. We were happy to have something simple, but we had to offer to bring up past emails to show what we had pre paid for. We would have bought the gin if they had a way to ship it to US…but no one knew how to do that.

The venue is great, Lovely setting but why is there no table service. I think there is no table service normally? But there was literally no service. You had to queue at the shop till where there was either no one there ore there was someone selling merchandise to someone else Very Slowly. When we came to pay , after queuing naturally, they couldn’t cash our token. One unhelpful waiter suggested that we had been scammed and lost our money. Anyway got there in the end. Could do better!

Just couldn’t fault the service we had. We went in a Monday & although quite quiet Husk still had a great vibe. The staff were all very knowledgeable & friendly. The platters we shared wee generous & delicious. The gin flights were great value & the perfect way to sample the excellent product. We will recommend & will be back.

We had a visitor that we wanted to treat to a special lunch so we chose Husk. The reception on arrival was friendly we were taken to our table and the menu explained as it is a share menu which suited us fine. The selection we chose was ordered without any complication and delivered very promptly. The food was delicious and no crumb left. This was our third visit and the next will be in the cooler months and we intend to experience the picnic. We bought two small bottles of coconut rum and a large bottle of spiced rum as well.
