Bienvenue! In the middle of Berlin, directly on the famous Gendarmenmarkt, you will find our restaurant. We have been inspired by the rich history of the place - the Französischer Dom (French Cathedral). This is what the modern, French-inspired cuisine and of course the name Hugo & Notte stand for. Named after the French religious refugees, the Huguenots, who built a church here around 1700 and in whose basement the restaurant is located. Indulge in history, enjoy the stylish ambience of our restaurant and, of course, our food and drinks! The Hugo & Notte is suitable for lunch, dinner or coffee & cake in the afternoon. Whether privately, with family or friends or for a business lunch - you are in good hands with us. In addition to the guest room, we have other locations for exclusive and larger events.     Gutes Essen in Bahnhofhallenatmosphäre. Empfang im Restaurant sehr freundlich. Nichts los. Es wurde dann tatsächlich ein Tisch angewiesen. Erster Eindruck: Sehr hell, hohe Räume, sauber, aber durch trotzdem laut und hallenartig. Auf Essen gefreut. Mit Suppe (Birne Fenchel) gestartet. Schwach gewürzt und schmeckte wie Spargelsuppe. Fisch sehr gut aber auch schwach angemacht, leider nur gedünstet ohne Kräuter, Zitrone oder Salz / Pfeffer. Kalbsboulette lecker, aber im Internet 3 auf dem Teller 2. Auf dem Tisch stand ein Tellerchen mit Buttermesser, was suggeriert, daß es zwischen den Mahlzeiten Brot mit Aufstrich geben könnte. War aber nicht der Fall. Um 22 Uhr (schließt um 22 Uhr) gab es kein Nachtisch mehr, was von uns freundlich reklamiert wurde, da wir in Berlin sind. Nicht kritikfähig wurden wir nicht verabschiedet, obwohl mehrmals von unserer Seite sich verabschiedet wurde. SCHADE und somit nicht empfehlenswert. Es gibt bestimmt bessere Restaurants in Berlin: z.B. Neli im Bikini-Haus, super KLASSE mit tollen Blick.

    Wir sind öfter und sehr gern im Hugo und Notte zu Gast. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich, kennen die Gerichte und können auch adäquate Weinempfehlungen geben. Die Gerichte waren bisher durch die Bank sehr lecker. Sonderwünsche werden gern umgesetzt. Unsere Nummer Eins!

    wir hatten uns schon der auf das restaurant gefreut, da wir davor ein veranstaltung im pariser dom besucht haben. leider kommt die küche über ein mittleres katinennevau nicht hinaus! meine frau hatte wildgulasch und der erste gabelbissen war ein großes stück silberhaut, ansonsten fast nur gezatter und sie hat alles zurück gehen lassen! mein kartoffelpüree war leider aus der tüte. es waren insgesamt 5 gäste im restaurant und trotzdem einige tische nicht angeräumt. neben getränketresen gab es offensichtlich im restaurant einen personaltisch an denen für die anderen gäste sichtbar getrunken und geredet wurde, einschl. dem koch, der unserer servierkraft auf unsere nachfrage antwortete > er koch das gulasch immer in einem großen topf, da kann mir der silberhaut schon mal vorkommen beim auffüllen< wir waren jedenfalls 2 x in diesem restaurant, das erste und das letzte mal! schade um diese schöne historische stätte.

    Sehr freundlicher Service, gute Karte französisch beeinflusst, Preise in Ordnung. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre im Raum. Am Essen war ordentlich gekocht und schön angerichtet. Getränke Karte OK, die Weinkarte abwechslungsreich.

    The food is quite ordinary. Got a steak that had been sous vide before grill = Tasteless. Got a Cod fillet that had bones = No go Service was not okay. Slow down and let people enjoy and relax! Ordered and got a before dinner drink. However the wine and starters were served less than 3 minutes later. The plates were attempt to be removed before finish. Had to learn the waitress how we'll place our knives and fork for her to see when to remove. And when asking for the bill. Please let us have one and not only the amount at the card machine. And then I just hate the card machines asking if you want to add tips in predetermined percentage! :-( No tips added just to let you know :-)

    Schon der runde Raum des "Hugo & Notte" ist etwas Besonderes, liegt er doch unter dem französischen Dom am Gendarmenmarkt. Und die französisch angehauchte Speisekarte, die auch höchst interessante vegetarische Gerichte umfaßt, ist es ebenso. Kombiniert mit einer exzellenten Getränkekarte und sehr freundlichem, humorvollem Service haben wir uns zum Ausklang des Weihnachtsfestes sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken uns herzlich.

    Von HUGO & NOTTE erfuhren wir durch eine Verkäuferin in der GALERIE LAFAYETTE bereits Ende November. Wir kamen damals unangemeldet und waren überrascht und sehr angetan von dem Ambiente im alten Gewölbe mit den hölzernen Kirchenbänken. Auch die Bewirtung und die Speisen haben uns sehr zugesagt. Aufgrund dieser positiven Erfahrung buchte ich für den 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag - im Anschluss an unseren Besuch im Hugenottenmuseum - einen Tisch zur Mittagszeit. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden im neuen Jahr wiederkommen.
