Come in and let the flavor do the talking. Our culinary team takes NW farm to table ingredients to craft a rustic American dining experience. Hudson's décor is nearly as spectacular as the food crafted in our open kitchen concept. Hudson's Bar & Grill is located inside the Heathman Lodge Hotel Vancouver WA.

Executive Chef Joe Reid joins Hudson’s with more than 20 years of culinary experience under his belt. Joe grew up in the Pacific Northwest. After graduating from the Western Culinary Institute, Joe started at a 4 diamond steakhouse in Lake Tahoe. He then moved back to the NW and began his culinary career as a Banquet Chef at the Multnomah Athletic Club. Since then, he has worked in various positions at multiple restaurants including Morton’s The Steakhouse, Salishan Lodge and Brand Chef at Stanford’s. He has a passion for mentoring his team and helping them reach their full potential.

    Service was excellent. Very nice dining space. Food was very disappointing. We both had the "wild caught king salmon" which was more likely sockeye salmon. The cuts were very thin and had no fat in them which also leans towards sockeye. To make matters worse they were grossly over cooked and completely dry. Caesar salad was not crisp and poorly dressed. Cheese cake was dry. On a good note, the drinks were very good. Our bill was $200. and certainly not worth it. This was our anniversary dinner and was quite a disappointment. It's such a beautiful room and great service but ruined by the food.

    Our server was Susan, and she was helpful and knowledgeable. She also made sure food didn’t arrive too quickly, so we could enjoy our appetizer and salad at a leisurely pace before the mains came. We thought all the food was delicious, fresh, and creative from the flatbread with pesto and arugula to the berry salad with burrata and the lingcod on corn grits cake with broccolini and the salmon with crab and artichoke in golden romesco sauce. Service was very attentive: speedy clearing of plates, more water, fresh ground black pepper, etc. I highly recommend this restaurant. Only drawback for us was it was a little noisy, but the excellent staff and food are worth it.

    Brunch was great. A little bummed that Espresso drinks were not on the menu, and my friend was put off by unexpected green onions on her eggs benedict. Still, everything was delicious, and we didn't leave hungry. Reasonably priced, and fantastic service. Our server, Cecily, was spot-on with her suggestions, and her quick wit cracked us up.

    We were very satisfied with our meal at Hudson's Bar & Grill. The food was delicious, and presented well. The room felt like a spacious lodge, which enhanced our enjoyment. Our server was delightful; a cheerful persona, great sense of humor, courteous, attentive but not overbearing. For us, this was the right place to celebrate a special occasion (wedding anniversary), and we would recommend it highly.

    Excellent Mother’s Day, brunch buffet! First time we tried Hudson’s and we will be back. The food was nice and hot and delicious. Of options for everyone the service was spectacular. Given how busy they were. Thank you for a great experience!

    So they put an automatic 20% gratuity in this buffet for “large” parties? We were a table of 4. The food was mediocre at best. Our server was pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. I would have most likely tipped 20%, just didn’t appreciate my hand being forced especially when there was nothing stated of this when making the reservation. For the price, and forced gratuity for a table of 4, I would have also expected better quality food.
