Great food…. Wish there was a place where older ppl could go to dine in a quieter atmosphere! It was not horrendous, but kind of loud!

If you don’t eat at Hudson House your life is a mere shadow of what it could be. Honestly, what are you even doing? What choices have you made that have led you to deny yourself the sheer joy that is crisp, cold martinis at 1:00 pm in the afternoon, a greasy double-stack cheeseburger you’ll forget eating, and service so good you’ll wish your waitress had been your own mother. If you have not eaten at Hudson House, you have not lived. You are…not alive. And I am terribly, tragically sorry for your feeble existence. May God have mercy on your soul.

I was disappointed in the Lakewood Hudson House dinner. I ordered the plank salmon, well done. It arrived on a plate with a huge pile of broccoli so undercooked and tough I couldn't cut it with a knife. The salmon was tasty, but watery inside..not well done. The pilaf that usually accompanies the salmon was gone. So there was the salmon and broccoli and that was it. The ambiance was gone...nothing but chattering so loud we couldn't even carry on a conversation. Am sorry to see this decline in a vibe that was so attractive.

its so hard because overall I love this place...but the noise really distracts. Also having management walk around and clearly observing if you are near completion of your meal is daunting.
