I didn't know they closed at 3 maybe that's why we were ignored so hard. Showed up to our reservation at 2:30, they seemed confused and tried to move on to the customer who came in after us. Once we were sat we didn't get a drink order in until 3, no one brought waters, the other servers would walk by and just look at us. We got our food and drink order in and then the server never came back to ask us how we are doing or if it was good. If you are going to ignore us at least tell us you are busy and you close soon. We would have left

The restaurant was really warm inside & the food was not good. The service wasn’t very good either, they were forgetful & out of basic things like ketchup. It was way over priced for the kind of food they serve. We didn’t have a good experience at all.

We have been several times. Overall, its "ok". Decent food, nice service, ample portions, and always busy. However, for a place called the "Huck House" I always expect more huckleberry items (like Huckleberry Syrup) or something. Dinging a full start because the last two times we have gone the bathrooms are borderline gross.

We’d never been to Huck House previously, but we will definitely be back. The food was awesome and the service was excellent. Stacey, our server, did a fantastic job for us on Mother’s Day.

We went at Mothersday and service and food were very good. A little more expensive than I would normally expect to pay for breakfast, but can't go wrong here. Stacy did very good balancing a large amount of customers and us as well.

We love Huck House! It’s a bit pricey, considering it has that old school diner vibe going, but it makes up for it with yummy food and friendly service.

Amazing! Food was so delicious! Omelette, breakfast potatoes, and gluten free pancakes with huckleberry compote was so yummy! Huckleberry mint mimosas! Yum! Stacey was a great server! We had a fabulous time!

Great place for brunch. The place was packed at 11:00 am on a Saturday. Portions are very generous. Everyone at my table enjoyed their food (we all had breakfast items). I ordered the Boise's Own omelet but unfortunately, they were completely out the chicken and sundried tomato sausages, one of the main ingredients. It was still a tasty omelet and I just had the pork sausage substitute (I don't eat pork) on the side for someone else at the table to eat.

We both had the eggs Benedict. One order had curdled, grainy hollandaise sauce and the other had the poached eggs cooked well done and the bacon was black, hard and tasted terrible. Potatoes were cold on both orders. Bloody Mary tasted off...I think it was made with wine instead of vodka. If that's the case, the menu should state the variation because I would not have ordered it. Very disappointed.

Well reserved a table via Open Table for Easter. Took my adult kids and we were seated at our 2:30 reservation time. Ordered a tree of Mimosas and food. Took a good 15 mins for the mimosas to arrive, which mind you is 12 total. After another 5 minutes our food came at which time the server said we had until 3 pm to consume. So why wouldn’t he inform me of this when we ordered from the get go? Food is ok. Mimosas are not the best in town. Sad holiday booking there.

Was a little let down with our brunch yesterday. I had previously been to Huck House to celebrate two co-workers birthdays. During this visit the two celebrating their birthdays were given some items to wear, a birthday menu to choose from and to finish they were sung Happy Birthday while a sparkler was going off at the table. My experience was much different. I chose to celebrate my birthday at Huck House for brunch and other than a happy birthday from our server nothing else was done. I was given a birthday menu but for the exception of two items they were out of everything on said menu. In fact when our table was ordering everyone at the table had to adjust their order as there were multiple items on the main menu that were out as well. At the end of our meal I received no singing or sparkler at the table. I know I really shouldn’t let any of this bother me but I was looking forward to certain drinks/food for my birthday and a little fun with what happened at my previous experience at Huck House for another’s birthday and when these items were not available and the fun did not happen it was kind of a let down. Our server also seemed as if she really didn’t want to be there and had to be reminded multiple times to bring some drinks we had requested.

The service was very slow and we needed to remind our waitress for water and refilling coffee. The bathroom was the worst. It was very gross that you lost the appetite after going. The food was just ok. Their French toast was really good when we visited a year ago. We will not come back.

My server did not check on us. She forgot our drinks multilevel times and our food. Never got a box. It was also a reservation for a birthday and she never came out with the sparklers. She was also rude and full of excuses and didn't take responsibility. It was a dissapointment for an expensive birthday brunch to not get any coffee or mimosas, food at different times, no birthday sparklers, and a rude server. I wanted to come here for my birthday and realize now that was a huge mistake.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience today. I’ve been here before three times and each time was better than today. We went for my son’s birthday - their birthday menu was sold out of most items. They forgot to bring him his meal altogether and by the time our server got around to addressing it, he was full from sharing with the rest of us. My side was forgotten. All of our food was cold. The table next to us got the fancy sparkling birthday candle and singing and my son got neither. Our waters never got refilled and we were thirsty.

I do enjoy visiting the Huck house, we’d all like to do it more often, the food is always good but wow the coffee and the menu are a bit on the high side. It would really help to offer better specials and lower the cost a a cup of coffee! Your menu items are all a bit on the high side.

The service was much to be desired... if you want to book a reservation, then do not waste your time! It took 30 plus minutes to be seated for a reservation I booked a week and half out for. The waitress pushed us to do one check and we seemingly never saw her. She guilt tripped us to not order as much so that she wouldn't have to work more.. maybe they could staff more people to help her out. Overall awful service that their food and drinks did not make up for.

We stopped in this weekend for the first time and our first impression of our server was not great. It wasn’t very busy and she was very rude. Food was good but prices seemed high. Not sure we’ll be back..

Showed up 10 mins before our reservation and were told to wait, that we’d be seated closer to our reservation time despite there being multiple open tables. Ten minutes *after* our reservation time, after sitting in full view of the hostess stand for the last 20 mins, someone from the kitchen came out and asked the hostesses about the seating/wait time. My husband overheard one of the three hostesses say “there’s not currently a wait for two people.” Surprised to hear that (since we were obviously still waiting), my husband approached the hostess to remind her that we had a reservation for 10 mins prior. Miraculously, she was able to seat us right then. Thankfully our server was great, and our meals came out super-quick, but both meals were cold. Overall a frustrating and disappointing experience, not sure we’ll be back when there are so many other options available.

Everything was amazing! Great service, amazing food, quality drinks, awesome experience. Love love loved it. Staff was in rush hour but they handled it with joy and incredible ease. If anything, I think I was the noisiest one there haha

Good was okay, our server was great but the cleanliness of the restaurant was not good and the felt old and outdated. It was our first time and we will probably not try again. Need to clean and update! Your website was cute it’s why we came in but much to our surprise it felt like the old restaurant that used to be there.

Unique, fairly extensive menu nicely executed and presented. Very creative overall, but especially with the drinks (mimosas, etc). "Diner"ambience not my particular favorite, but not inappropriate and it's pleasant.

Nice atmosphere and everyone else was having fun with the mimosa tree. My friends said their food was good. I ordered the sweet potato and bacon smash with my eggs over medium. The eggs came out runny and half the whites were raw and runny in my bowl. The potato mash was not hot. I sent it back and got a new bowl delivered and the eggs were over easy this time. I said that was fine since my friends were already halfway done with their meals. The scoop of sweet potato mash still was just room temp. Our waitress was great though. Also I wish they would clean the door handles on the outside; they’re gross.
