Amazing cocktails! Booked here as we were staying in the suite, and I honestly wish we had booked for longer! The cocktails were amazing, the atmosphere was relaxed and beautiful, and the bar staff could not have been more helpful! You know it’s a good cocktail bar when you see the team really go out their way to make amazing cocktails and it definitely shows! We will 1000% be back, thank you for some amazing cocktails!

This is such a special place because there is no where like it. The ambience, the class, mahogany walls, mood lighting, table service, think of 50s Chicago. I would love to stay in the hotel here to really get the full experience, which I definitely will be doing!

Dark, cramped, dingy room with no natural light. Wet room was nicely decorated but small. Food (pizza) and prosecco average. No space to actually eat comfortably. Cocktails probably the highlight of the experience but no accompaniments available. Breakfast was a disgrace - airplane level coffee and a cold bagel with tasteless fillings. Considering the price the team here need to rethink the concept from the ground up. Would not recommend.

Just checked out from House of Gods Edinburgh. We had been upgraded to treat me like I am famous as Glasgow wasn’t open in time for our anniversary as planned. Cabin is small. But we knew that from website!! Service was brill. Champagne in our room on arrival with house of gods chocs. Balloons and gold petals a nice touch!! Just send a what’s app when you want your milk and cookies delivered to you room which is a giant cookie with a glass of fruit pastilles and skittles!! £50 cocktail tab was amazing and the cocktail making experience the lady was lovely. Breakfast to your room in the morning was delivered in a closed basket with fresh orange and flasks of tea and coffee!! Would highly recommend as a treat!! Well done House of Gods Edinburgh!!

Using open table, I was under the impression I had booked dinner and cocktails. We turned up and were seated in the hotel lobby at a tiny table. The only food was pizza served in takeaway pizza boxes. Staff were not particularly helpful and got the first cocktail order wrong. The website makes this looks like a fantastic venue. It’s very much clever photography!! Beyond disappointed!!

Comfortable seats, attentive staff and lovely decor. The cocktails were brilliant but small considering the price. Overall we had an amazing (if slightly expensive) night.

We had a great time and the House of gods cocktail bar. The cocktail menu was amazing was very hard to choose from because they looked amaing the no5 is highly recommended. The staff were excellent very pleasant and helpful would definitely return.

We did not eat so cannot speak to the food. We did have a lovely time in the cocktail lounge where the fantastic service from really knowledgeable and invested staff was very very welcome! They gave really good guidance when we got stuck on what to choose, were attentive but gave us the room to enjoy our drinks. Top marks! The drinks were beautifully crafted, unique, perfectly chilled and quite simply amazing! The music was familiar, funky, and of a volume where we could enjoy our conversation so top marks here too! 10/10 all round!

Fantastic venue. Great location brilliant staff really unusual atmosphere with the 1920s prohibition theme. We had a fantastic stay thank you so much.

We came for the cocktails and they did not disappoint. It is a small bar with intimate seating and we had a fun time interacting with the staff. Would recommend for pre-dinner drinks.

A very small cocktail bar. We did not get anything to eat . Service was great , but we were the only customers at the start . The drinks were lovely but having looked at the drinks menu £200 for a bottle of vodka seems extortionate

Unreal cocktails in a beautiful bar. We booked outside but as it was fairly quiet we got a table inside and the staff were really friendly. You get what you pay for here and although on the expensive side, it’s absolutely worth it.

Wonderful service; entire staff was great. Not only did we have cocktails here but we stayed at the hotel for two nights. Gock was engaging and personable; friendly and helpful. The playlist was also very good; not too loud or pop - good mix for a unique cocktail experience. Drinks were very good. Had a great time.

A great nights stay in Edinburgh HoG, great late night tunes and cocktails at the bar. Breakfast delivered to the room right on time . Cool place to stay!

The drinks took 20 mins to arrive even though the bar was empty. The cocktails were very expensive and really nothing special. It was weird that the bouncers were handing out the drinks (no need for a bouncer in the first place).

Please note we were a drinks only booking 2 food review does not stand. Lovely drinks and very friendly staff. Venue was very small and as table was right by the door we were quite chilly. Apart from that we really enjoyed a couple of pre dinner cocktails here!

Staff were fantastic and quick to answer any questions we had about drinks. Nothing was too much for them and the drinks were seriously yummy. Will definitely be back.
