House of Cards is Nashville’s most unique dining and entertainment experience. Located underground in a 10,000 sq. ft space, the venue offers an evening for guests unlike any other in the history of the South.
House of Cards celebrates the art of magic, classic American cuisine and fine hand-crafted cocktails. Guests are encouraged to explore the dining room to enjoy the rare collections and be entertained by some of America’s top magicians. Complimentary tickets to magic performances in the showroom are included with purchase of a dinner entrée. Please, no outside bottles.

Reservations for parties of 6 or less can be made 14 days in advance through OpenTable. For parties of 7-12, please reserve 17 days in advance by emailing reservations@hocnashville.com.

I visited yesterday for my birthday and I have been to the House of Cards six visits now and have always been impressed. Though the pricea may seem steep it is more than justified by the closeup performers, staff, ambiance, stage show, etc. I have never been disappointed in the slightest. I'm looking forward to ky next visit!

Super fun experience. Great staff, amazing service, and excellent food. And the magic both up close and stage made the night super unique Really enjoyed it! Definitely want to go back. And for sure will recommend to others

Did the Family Brunch for Mother's Day. Overall food was very good - Mac n' Cheese and fried chicken (a tad spicy for the little ones) were the favorites at the table. Prime rib was solid. Lots of crab!!! Shows were great. We felt a little hurried - reservation was at 2:15 and due to the line we didn't sit until 2:35 and our magic show was at 3:30. Otherwise a fantastic meal.

We were a party of 3 (2 adults and 1 child) for Mother's Day Brunch and show @ 2. The Positive: The food was outstanding, especially for a restaurant featuring a show! This was our first visit so I'm not sure if the crab, shrimp and fruit are standard or it was because of Mother's Day, but it was fab! The decor was very nice and we enjoyed the mini tour before we were seated. Once we checked in the staff was friendly. We enjoyed the magicians at the side tables doing card tricks. I also enjoyed that they had a dress code, though not everyone followed it. I'm glad the restaurant mentioned a nearby parking garage where parking was validated with no issues... saved us $20-$30. Not So Positive: Checking in was very disorganized and they did not let people in the restaurant in the order they arrived. This turned out not to be a huge issue, but our experience started with some frustration. Our waitress was nice, though slightly inattentive. The dessert table was only 20% full when I went to get sweets. I noticed they replenished a little before we had to leave for the main show... I grabbed a cookie. The main act/magician was OK... basically did card tricks and a couple other things, though my 9 year old was impressed. We were not able to take pictures @ House of Cards (It was Mother's Day and we wanted a family picture) and the wandering photographer never came to our table.

They didn't have any chicken options. We only saw two of the card magiciansa and the headliner only performed about 15 minutes. Overall, we still had a great time.

Ambience and performances were awesome. Service was great, but waiters and assistant managers seemed like they were a little frazzled. Food was just ok. I would go back for the cool factor, but not necessarily the food.

You have to be in the mind set you want something different. Not your ordinary head to longhorn for a steak. It was our 21st wedding anniversary. And I absolutely loved it and so did the hubs. This was absolutely hands down one of the best dinner shows we have been to .I will say JD was our waiter and he was outstanding! The food was absolutely delicious. We both had Parmesan crusted NY strips. We shared the mash potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Everything was top notch. It has a very swanky vibe. The magic shows were great. Shout out to Terry he got me with the tie every time!!

Pricey, but oh so worth it once you factor in the always-entertaining show and close-up magic! The Steaks were delicious, excellent drinks and spot-on service.

This was my tenth visit to HOC. I'm a local and I bring my friends whenever they are in town, and sometimes my husband and I have visited, just the two of us. I don't typically feel compelled to write a review, but my visit on May 5th has compelled me to do so. First, I will say that the food, service and magic were all excellent. Unfortunately, it seems that HOC has become quite selective when it comes to their "strictly enforced dress code". A gentleman wearing jeans and a dress shirt sat at the table next to us (he looked nice, but...jeans??) while a few young women had on shorts (not denim) and cowboy boots. Worse yet, I saw two women in dresses so short that both cheeks were hanging out (yes, seriously). When I was there in February, I watched as management refused to allow entry to two women wearing jeans and leggings, and I applauded the manager for making this decision. The dress code is, after all, plastered on the restaurant's website! On one occasion, my husband was wearing a shirt and tie under his woolen pea coat and realized when we arrived he's forgotten his sport coat! Management was very nice and lent him a sport coat. Again, they were very firm on the dress code and insisted he wear the borrowed coat. I'm not sure what has happened, or why HOC has become so lax. My friend actually purchased a dressy outfit to wear a few days ago, and we thought it was fun to get dressed up! My point here is not to complain about the dress code, but if the restaurant is going to make a big deal about it, why aren't they enforcing it at the door like they used to? Why only certain people? Are they more interested in making money than enforcing their own rules? Honestly, it's not as fun to participate when people are walking around in jeans and too-short-dresses that belong at a pool party in Vegas (or on Broadway). I hope HOC examines their policies and puts appropriate measures in place moving forward.

What a fun Sunday brunch! We took our grandson, he is 17, and he loved it as much as we did. The food was so good, Emma was our server and she was attentive but not intrusive, the carving station meats and huge shrimp were delightful. The card tricks were spellbinding. Excellent, high-quality entertainers.

When I made reservations here while we were on vacation celebrating my daughters birthday I thought inwas crazy paying that price. We do not regret anything about it now. We'll worth every penny. Our server was the sweetest, food was amazing, ambiance was fun. Only downfall is it is harder to find. At the end when leaving I asked for directions to parking garage. Staff was kind enough to actually go outdoors and show us where the building was. Will definitely be back our next trip to Nashville

Very unique and cool atmosphere. The service was excellent (Renee and Emily)! The food was excellent—the starter scallops and the sea bass and rack of lamb entrees are delicious. The magic show was very entertaining along with all the magicians. The House of Cards is a great choice for a fun night with family and friends that includes great food, excellent service and amazing magic!

Most of our food was great - my filet was on point. Unfortunately my husband's ribeye was extremely tough - we've had far better steak from Texas Roadhouse. He didnt want to ruin the fun time, so wouldnt let me complain. Service at our table was fantastic, but service at the bar was very slow, we felt like an inconvenience to the bar by requesting 2 drinks, and had to wait over 15 minutes, worried we would be late to the show. The main magic show was amusing, but not impressive. One of the sideshows was more entertaining. The outdoor area used to be beautiful, but is run down and unkempt now compared to our first visit several years ago. Overall not a terrible experience, but some points were disappointing for the high price.

Definitely one of the coolest places we have dined in a while, I would recommend anyone and everyone to go out and atleast have the experience it’s well worth it, plus if you don’t actually dress up a lot then step out of your comfort zone and just live a little.. go!!

Just fabulous. Jordan the bartender was the sweetest, attentive, and made a great cocktail. Wine selection was on point. Ambiance was everything. The service and was impeccable. This was very worth doing. I don’t want to spoil the surprises in store here but would highly recommend House of Cards for a dressy, romantic, and entertaining experience.
