We had a wonderful lunch here. We were greeted and seated promptly by the friendly bartender. Our cocktails were expertly made and delicious. My husband ordered the salmon entrée while I chose the salmon BLT. Both were lovely dishes, delicious and nicely presented. Service throughout the meal was impeccable. We chose to eat inside, which is a serene and charming environment, but the outdoor patio looked inviting, so we'll have to return to try that seating. And more of the tasty food! A wonderful experience in downtown Sacramento.

The noise level was painful!!! Couln't even talk to my husband. The food was poor. Last time we ate there, the sandwich was delicious. We came back and ordered the same sandwich. It was terrible.

Our experience at House was fantastic! The decor is simple but quite pretty and the food was sensational. I highly recommend that you go there and enjoy!

4 friends: Salmon salad had ice chips, no dressing, one tomatoe and 2 slivers of red onion. Highly disappointed. Gumbo boring and bland. Could have been warmer. Chicken marsala not bad but not great Chicken tacos were good Noisy but common. Would not go back for a $200 meal (one drink each) but really disappointed because its so close to Golden One Center venue.

Everything is great. The appetizers are large enough to serve as a main and certainly good for sharing. The vibe is upbeat before a King's game as the place is full of fans. It is our favorite before game dining experience.

Slow service. We were not told of the specials when ordering and then we hear the table beside us get seated and told of the daily specials.

We had reservations here before a Kings game. They were so nice when we were running late and let us move our reservations a little later. The staff was very nice, service was top notch, and the food was delicious!!! I had a filet with......blue cheese fondue sauce!!!!! I highly recommend this place and would return!

Had the Christophers Spicy Chicken Sandwich, worst thing I’ve had there. All the other food I’ve tried was good, but this sandwich was like something from a cafeteria at a high school. Chicken had no seasoning on it, a piece of gross lettuce and a tomato, then slathered with some spicy dressing out of a jar. Can’t believe it was almost $20.

We took our two children 6 and 4, with us. While this isn’t a place geared towards children, we walked in and sat down and somehow, within less than two minutes, they delivered French fries and ketchup to the kids. We didn’t even ask. It was amazing, and went a long way to keeping our kids calm and happy so they (hopefully) didn’t ruin anyone else’s dinner. Food was amazing! Service excellent.

We found this restaurant while visiting the area for an event. Reviews (and pictures of the food) were what got us there. We had a very nice experience. It was an early dinner , so it was very quiet and not busy yet. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We all had the house salad and enjoyed the freshness of the greens and the lovely vinaigrette on it. My aunt and I had the chicken marsala and it was very nice. My husband had the gumbo, I tasted it and thought it was very good also. The prices were affordable, tge food was good and the employees were very friendly! I would recommend this restaurant! Thx!

We always have dinner here before the Kings game. The food is perfect for pregame, tasty and hearty and healthy. Appetizers are amazing and big enough to share.

Chris and his entire staff always create a warm reception. Their food, service, and every aspect are outstanding. This is our go-to place whenever we are downtown and attending a Kings game. p.s. The Prime-Rib French Dip & Half-pound Prime Chuck Burger are by far the best in California. Everything is awesome!!

Had dinner at House Kitchen and Bar before a Sacramento Kings game. Food and service were excellent. I've eaten at House several times and always thoroughly the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

House is a downtown gem one block from Golden 1 Arena. I frequent it for lunch, but I took the entire family for dinner before a game. Food was delicious, everything came out together, and the service was friendly and efficient. The drinks also were great!
