Our signature, all-day restaurant (named for the patron saint of cooks) is an ode to seasonal Italian cooking with regional New Orleans influences. The timeless design is grand, with lush modern touches and ample outdoor seating on the porch and courtyard.

Lubanzi Presents Steak Night

Dine al fresco as we kick off our first weekly Steak Night—a three-course dinner (starter + steak + dessert). Every Wednesday beginning March 27, We’ll light the grill, pour bottomless wine from our friends at Lubanzi (included in the set menu price), and party under the stars. DJs will be doing their thing, too. The three-course prix-fixe menu offers options for starter (wedge salad, minestra maritata, or yellowtail carpaccio), choice of steak cut (NY strip, petite filet mignon, ribeye, steak tartare, or Gulf shrimp skewer), and dessert. Weekly on Wednesdays 5:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Please call (504) 350-2430 for details or to make a reservation.

Wonderful service and dinner entres but the air conditioner was up so high our whole table was freezing and couldn't enjoy our food. Wear a coat.

We had a very delicious Mother’s Day dinner. We almost did not have a good experience, since our waiter, Michael, seemed to forget about taking our dinner order. Thank goodness for Jamie, the Sommelier, who came to our rescue - found us a great bottle of wine, took our dinner order, and looked after us. Michael returned to present the bill. Kudos to Jamie!

We had a delightful Mother’s Day brunch in your beautiful restaurant. The buffet was grand and I ordered an omelette that was perfectly prepared. Just a wonderful experience. Thank you! Jacqueline was a great server!

Ate outside looking out on the courtyard and pool and had a lovely time. Appreciated they have vegetarian options, and they were delicious!

We have dined at San Lorenzo previously and rated that experience as 5 stars. This was our first Steak night. Concept was great. Food execution was a bit disappointing. Cold potatoes- twice. Steak was OK, not what we expected from San Lorenzo.

My husband and I did the Wednesday Steak Night experience and we highly recommend! It was SUCH an awesome idea. We’ll probably try to do it one more time before the series ends. The ambience with the music in the backyard, the comfortable seating, the great menu, and the unlimited wine (delicious) made for such a lovely evening. Such a good value.

Great place and food was excellent. Unfortunately, when we arrived they informed us there would be no "hot" food since the kitchen equipment and utilities were out of order. Still, the "cold" food was excellent and the service was great.

Service Staff seemed not to be trained properly. Forgot to bring requested bottle water. forgot to bring on time french fries. Brought bill before ordering dessert. Final bill did not listed dessert and coffee, but charge seemed therefore higher. Asked server about the issue, and he mentioned that is how he dies it. He brought the corrected final bill, especially that it was split in two. Manager stepped in very professionally when correcting the shortcoming of the staff. Even when the champagne cooler bucket was hit by a cart, hit the floor and splashed shoes, handbag and skirt. Manager did a superb job in correcting the accident created by a strong wind. This is a great, expensive place which we attend often. There must be shortage of staff or high turnover. But good training would help.

The San Lorenzo in the Saint Vincent is a NOLA gem. We enjoyed a spectacular lunch on the lovely porch overlooking the courtyard. The attention to detail is very obvious. Beautiful space, delicious food and wonderful service. A must visit when in NOLA.

I love going to this place because the atmosphere is incredible but the service is horrible. Drinks late, food late, and then some items were forgotten. I wish they could get the service together. There is no management to complain to and it’s just the way it is every time I dine in the restaurant. Help!

We were there at 6pm on a Monday so it was quiet, not sure about weekends! Micah was our server and he was fantastic! Very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious! A bit pricey but wont stop us from coming back soon.

We just had Easter brunch. The food was good but nothing exceptional for $115/person. Drinks were not included. The service was terrible. The restaurant was not full and yet we had to wait a long time to get our drinks and mains. In our party of 6, 2 of us were gluten free and no options were offered. The ambiance was lovely but the food and service didn’t justify the hefty price. I will come back for drinks but not food. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Service was horrible. 15 minutes to be served water. Add 15 more minutes to get drinks. On top of the wait, the waitress never asked us if we wanted refills. We had to ask her to refill our drinks. And, she forgot half our order. Unless they improve, we won’t return.

They were out of 3 items in the menu early in the evening and the service was very slow. The food that they did have was very good, but don’t think I would go there again. They did comp us for the appetizers which was a nice gesture, but for the price point, I would go to a different restaurant.

Everything was great but we hated the MUSIC - if you could call it that!!! I prefer something classical or soft at dinner to go with the beautiful atmosphere - not fast paced or energetic!

So very disappointing! We were seated by the host. Server came by and asked for drink orders. 2 coffees and a Chardonnay. She came back with coffees and the Chardonnay which she poured from the bottle into glass-it was the end of the bottle and not even a 4 oz pour for $23! We waited for a long time for our order to be taken and a new person came to take the order. We said we didn’t know what happened to our server and she said she didn’t either. Finally got our food, had to ask for coffee refills, butter and jam for the biscuits, salt and pepper, more coffee refills. We pretty much had to “flag people down” to get service. This was a special occasion for my family which turned into a complete letdown besides the fact that it is terribly overpriced for food that is ok and service that is subpar.

Great food. Portions are not large but you probably want to order mostly to share. The staff is amazing, very knowledgeable. We spend a lot of time in New Orleans, know all the restaurants, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in quite a while there. Make sure to go.
