On bustling Hall Road, the newest HopCat location is located in the Mall at Partridge Creek. Our Clinton Township restaurant features a wrap-around bar, spacious booth seating, outdoor patio, and private event room.

HopCat was founded on the principles of bringing local craft beer a bit closer to the communities we love. We’re known for our award-wining Cosmik fries, which are beer battered, sprinkled with our signature cracked black pepper seasoning, and served with a side of warm cheese sauce. From burgers to tacos, our menu offers a range of delicious options.

We had a great experience. The service was excellent, the food came out fairly quickly and the place was packed! With that being said, it was extremely warm with the doors wide open on an 85 degree day and it was quite loud but overall we really enjoyed our visit and plan to return in the future

I had made a reservation for a group of 6, 4 adults and 2 kids. We were seated immediately in the covered patio portion, which was very nice. Half our party was running late. My husband, son, and I were brought drinks very quickly. Our friends arrived about 10 minutes after us, and it took our waitress 15 more minutes to come to the table to take their drink order, and all our food order (after I flagged down another waiter to find her). We ordered and appetizer, 4 entrees, and a kids meal. The appetizer was brought out quickly, but our dinner took over an hour from when we ordered. We were not offered any compensation for the wait. The drinks and food were very good. I understand this is a new restaurant, but they either need to fill less tables while staff gets up to speed or hire more competent kitchen staff. Over an hour wait for hamburgers is absolutely ridiculous. We love HopCat but will be waiting a while before returning.

Food is excellent and the service was good. I did not appreciate being charged a dollar each for small beer samples to determine which IPA was I wanted. I asked the waitress if they give very small samples, like a sip, to which she replied "oh sure!". Then she brought me one I didn't ask for and charged me for all three. I also don't like being asked if I was cheese sauce with the fries n a way that makes you think it's a choice either way, not an upgrade charge. A $1.50 each is a bit much, especially if you're not being told that's it an uncharged and everyone at the table says "sure" to it. So, 9 extra dollars later...I know these are petty, but the petty things are what leaves a bad taste.

Fun place, love the decor. Food was barely warm. Ordered the lobster dip which should have come out hot and it did not. It was a little bubbly around the edges, but the middle was barely warm and coagulated. Same with my husband’s buffalo mac and cheese. Kind of looked like it was hit with a torch instead of heating in oven. We should have sent the dip and the mac and cheese back but didn’t. My burger was good, but the promise of horseradish cheese on it fell flat - barely any cheese and no horseradish taste. Since it’s only been open a week or so, I’ll try again after they get their rhythm. Server (Marko?) was awesome. I also throughly enjoyed the Meowgorita with added spicy peach syrup. The other thing that I loved is that dirty dishes did not sit in the table. Every server that passed by grabbed what they could.

Great beer selection! We had a variety of apps- the Space Curds are really good. Recommend to try any of the birgers, the tacos (got the vegan ones) and the lobster Mac. Service was fantastic!
