The original HopCat location is located in a historical building downtown Grand Rapids. Steps from Van Andel Arena, GLC Live at 20 Monroe, and the Grand Rapids Art Museum, our restaurant features a dog-friendly outdoor patio, oversized wooden bar, and comfortable seating.

HopCat was founded on the principles of bringing local craft beer a bit closer to the communities we love. We’re known for our award-wining Cosmik fries, which are beer battered, sprinkled with our signature cracked black pepper seasoning, and served with a side of warm cheese sauce. From burgers to tacos, our menu offers a range of delicious options.

    Hostess was slightly flustered upon arrival due to what seemed to be a take out customer, as she completed the call before any greeting or communication. I felt bad for her. variety of cocktails and beer menu. Food is okay, for the cost portions were fairly small either for a group on just looking sad on the bun I.e. philly cheese steak could have been way more full, it was like where’s the rest….waitress was excellent.

    We sat sat outside, table for 10. Food was excellent, as was the service.

    We love hop cat! Just learned they have a new menu. I wish they would have kept the delicious salads :( the only reason we came back routinely

    Seemed understaffed for a Sunday afternoon pre-hockey. Check was not correct and server said they were too busy to fix and would correct later. Took a while for them to take our drink order and food came out lukewarm.
