Made a late afternoon reservation, but wasn’t expecting that clean and close the entire restaurant while we were still there. Would never go back because of this. Don’t offer the late reservation if you can’t accommodate.

The setting is beautiful and the restaurant has an incredible view. Ordering on a Sunday night was confusing. We wanted rice but thought it came with dishes but by the time our selections came there was no rice. We were expecting a more traditional Chinese cuisine.

The experience is unbeatable if you can get a table by the window with view of the City and GoldenGate bridge. Dimsun and Peking duck are good. But service and staff attitude are unpleasant.

Half of the things we ordered were no longer available, the service was terrible - no attention to detail whatsoever, no friendliness. This place treats you like a number. Don’t want to come back again.

Frankly, the only thing this restaurant has to sell is the fabulous view of San Francisco Bay. The service is slow and inattentive. The dining area is sparse and plain. Just a large, empty space packed with tables. The restaurant was crowded on Mother’s Day and the noise level was high. We ordered two cocktails from their full bar and both were disappointing. The drink they called an “Old Fashioned” unrecognizable. Their bartender clearly needs training. The food was mediocre. I’ve had better Chinese food at the small, family owned restaurant in the strip mall in my neighborhood. But the prices here are double! $25 for General Tsou’s chicken! But we witnessed a spectacular sunset over the Bay! Next time, I’ll pack a picnic and watch from the park nearby.

The food was good but the service was terrible. The waitress didn’t communicate at all. Some of our items ordered were sold out and we were not allowed to order additional dim sum. The waiter said it would take a long time. We said we could wait but would not let us order anything else. We left hungry.

We have eaten here many times, but haven't been here since Covid hit....Food flavors have definitely changed and not for the best (our humble opinion). Everything on both dim sum lists and entrees were lacking flavor. Lets just say, we won't be rushing back.

A picturesque location at the end of the Emeryville Peninsula...ample parking and easy freeway access is what makes this place convenient for gathering up your tribe. But, the food is why we go there! The dim sum is out of this world...an endless selection of treats including the classics! leave your food guilt at home when visiting this Chinese Food Palace.

Food was delicious but service was slow. We were at a lovely table at sunset and the sun was shining in our eyes. I asked them to lower the shades. They did but someone kept lifting them.
