Honey Salt is a restaurant dedicated to celebrating the best of B.C. It is located on the lobby level of JW Marriott inside Parq Vancouver. Serves as a cozy home-style, welcoming restaurant with a sophisticated and casual neighborhood ambiance. The cuisine consists of a dynamic, seasonally inspired menu showcasing local ingredients with an emphasis on farm-to-table. The restaurant will boast a lively bar fueled by culinary inspired cocktails, regional spirits and beers, and BC centric wine list. As Honey Salt is not located on the Casino floor, kids are welcome!

                                                                                  I’d recommend the afternoon tea here. There’s a nice selection of little sandwiches, scones and cakes. The lemon tart is one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The selection of teas is pretty good. We enjoyed ourselves, and we'll be back, for sure.

                                                                                  Great spot inside the Marriott downtown Vancouver; really easy access to main entrance from Garage P2. Service and greeting were outstanding; food was good and well priced ( on the low side) “monkey bread” and truffle Mac and cheese for starters, entrees were good, the crème brûlée with angel food and strawberries were delicious- lots of space in the restaurant, wide open actually

                                                                                  Ate on the patio, cushions on the chair were very dirty and need a deep clean. Needs an update on upholstery on furniture. Food and service was good, front staff seemed pre-occupied, but were seated quickly.

                                                                                  The egg white frittata comes with no sides and looks quite sad on the plate. Although I have loved going to Honey Salt in the past the service is consistently very poor. Based on my brunch experience I think the servers might have to make their own beverages (coffee's/lattes etc.) and it is quite time consuming therefore they are not present and it takes forever to get service. It’s disappointing to see so many staff walking around but still have to ask for water and coffee refills when there are only a handful of other tables in the room. However our server was kind when she did make it over to the table. For what you receive it feels very overpriced and lacking in many ways.

                                                                                  I came here for Mother’s Day with my siblings. Cute vibe overall re: the interior. Unfortunately after the initial drop off of coffee and taking our order, the server never returned to our table. There seemed to be a lot of wait staff and support staff around and it wasn’t particularly busy as it was early, 9 am, and we still had to really work to get anyone to notice us. No one checked on the food quality (2 of the three meals were cold) or refilled our beverages. Disappointing overall as it’s not cheap to go out these days and wanted to have a nice Mother’s Day.
