Honey Salt is a restaurant dedicated to celebrating the best of B.C. It is located on the lobby level of JW Marriott inside Parq Vancouver. Serves as a cozy home-style, welcoming restaurant with a sophisticated and casual neighborhood ambiance. The cuisine consists of a dynamic, seasonally inspired menu showcasing local ingredients with an emphasis on farm-to-table. The restaurant will boast a lively bar fueled by culinary inspired cocktails, regional spirits and beers, and BC centric wine list. As Honey Salt is not located on the Casino floor, kids are welcome!

I’d recommend the afternoon tea here. There’s a nice selection of little sandwiches, scones and cakes. The lemon tart is one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The selection of teas is pretty good. We enjoyed ourselves, and we'll be back, for sure.

Great spot inside the Marriott downtown Vancouver; really easy access to main entrance from Garage P2. Service and greeting were outstanding; food was good and well priced ( on the low side) “monkey bread” and truffle Mac and cheese for starters, entrees were good, the crème brûlée with angel food and strawberries were delicious- lots of space in the restaurant, wide open actually

Ate on the patio, cushions on the chair were very dirty and need a deep clean. Needs an update on upholstery on furniture. Food and service was good, front staff seemed pre-occupied, but were seated quickly.

The egg white frittata comes with no sides and looks quite sad on the plate. Although I have loved going to Honey Salt in the past the service is consistently very poor. Based on my brunch experience I think the servers might have to make their own beverages (coffee's/lattes etc.) and it is quite time consuming therefore they are not present and it takes forever to get service. It’s disappointing to see so many staff walking around but still have to ask for water and coffee refills when there are only a handful of other tables in the room. However our server was kind when she did make it over to the table. For what you receive it feels very overpriced and lacking in many ways.

I came here for Mother’s Day with my siblings. Cute vibe overall re: the interior. Unfortunately after the initial drop off of coffee and taking our order, the server never returned to our table. There seemed to be a lot of wait staff and support staff around and it wasn’t particularly busy as it was early, 9 am, and we still had to really work to get anyone to notice us. No one checked on the food quality (2 of the three meals were cold) or refilled our beverages. Disappointing overall as it’s not cheap to go out these days and wanted to have a nice Mother’s Day.

Our appie was missing the sauce, husband's main was not good. My pasta was delicious but the service was non existent for our entire visit. Overall, would not recommend to friends.

I love honey salt, and I usually eat there every day when I am staying at the Douglas, but by far today was the worst experience. The food was great, like always. The server took our order, brought out our coffee, and disappeared, never coming back or asking how the food was. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, so that wasn't the case. She finally came back and asked if we wanted more coffee. I politely declined and asked for the bill, which took her 20 more minutes to get to us. Very disappointing…

The food quality and value is not even comparable to what it was when Honey Salt first opened. The meat on my galette was so hard and dry I literally couldn’t cut it. I’m so sad because the fruit used to be amazing! Whipped ricotta and mint and an interesting mix of fruit. Now it’s a $14 plate of orange and melon slices like an elementary school kid’s after school snack. It’s a place to go to take pictures and I think management knows that. People will come regardless of the mediocre food/value. It is what it is, used to be a staple for me but I don’t think I’ll be back :(

Always love coming to Honey Salt. The ambience was amazing as usual and our server Alex was very attentive. We had the lobster galette, regular galette and chicken and waffles which were all amazing. We shared a pitcher of the rose sangria which was fruity and refreshing. Definitely would recommend honey salt for brunch or any other meal!

Our server was amazing! Kind, attentive and just overall very sweet! Only issue with the food was with the avocado toast, it was very hard and difficult to eat the toast - the flavour was great just tasted like the toast sat afterwards for a while before the toppings went on. With the music, it was a bit to load and not what we expected to listen to while enjoying a brunch - it was more an evening vibe.

Eating outside on the patio added to the ambience of my lunch, but it is only available when the weather is reasonable. The service and food were very good as this was mainly comfort food.

I ordered the steak salad, steak was cold, only few small bits of blue cheese in the salad, salad was dry, had to asked server for some dressing. Server was friendly, appeared she was the only server at lunch hour

Top notch brunch today at Honey Salt. The creme brûlée French toast was exquisite as was the accompanying gin ceasar made by Daniel. I will return here. Everything was exceptional.

Music was way too loud. I work in live events—The space certainly didn’t that much atmosphere at 1pm. Food portions were smaller than usual and the quality wasn’t up to normal standards. Disappointing. Upholstered booth seats were terribly soiled. Staff were great however.

Honey Salt is a lovely place for a casual meal. The menu is small but varied enough to satisfy our table of three. The food was delicious and the service was good. The only downside was it was very noisy, probably because it was a full house. It ambience improved considerably once most of the diners left for a concert!

Never being there, we tried the Easter breakfast brunch. I thought the selection would be more impressive, me and my daughter enjoy toast. There were only sweet breads, the butter for the waffles was placed near the end of the buffet. I would have liked to have put it on the waffles first before the syrup so it melts. Perhaps it was for food safety.. My daughter really enjoyed the fried chicken! I suppose I enjoyed my byo omelet and the croissant was delicious. The service was sparse, I think maybe due to us picking the buffet. But the young gentleman was very polite and wonderful, just needs to visit our table more often. I had to ask other servers for salt and pepper, and new fork for desert. The food also was a little cold, they replenished the hot foods 15 min after I dished up. There was a candy station included at the desert bar, the reason it enticed us to try Honey Salt. Small selection and lack of tongs, but the two cakes I tried were absolutely delicious a divine chocolate one and red velvet. The label was also marked wrong on the cakes, no biggie as I know my cakes! Overall I won't be returning for the buffet but definitely for a dine in experience or sit out on the patio. We made reservations, they seated us inside. It looked very lovely, the patio. = )

The service we had was terrible… Our waitress only job was to get us water, clear dishes, and coffee. I had to actually clear my dishes myself and had to get my own water and ask her at least three times for a coffee refill I felt the selection of food was not what I expected for such a venue like the Parq. I will certainly think twice about dining there again

Made a reservation in the patio since they had a buffet inside but our table wasn’t ready or set up for 3. It was cold and heaters weren’t working. The manager was called by the waitress to fix but he never approached us to inform us what was happening, if it was going to be resolved or if we could get another table instead of just standing there. We suggested to sit at an empty table that was set up and clean but were told it was reserved. During our two hours there no one was sat there. The manager pointed us to sit at another table that was dirty and didn’t even instruct people to clean it or apologized for anything. The only reason I don’t give it a 1 star review is because the waiter and waitress who attended us were super sweet and apologetic about the bad service and poor experience. While food tasted decent, it was not worth the price. Any diner or coffee shop would’ve been a much better experience all around. I would not recommend to anyone nor will I be visiting again.

The chicken was subpar in our fried chicken Benedict. It was my wife’s birthday and I did leave a note about this and was hoping for some acknowledgement but there was nothing, so left a bit disappointed with that.
