Honey Salt is a restaurant dedicated to celebrating the best of B.C. It is located on the lobby level of JW Marriott inside Parq Vancouver. Serves as a cozy home-style, welcoming restaurant with a sophisticated and casual neighborhood ambiance. The cuisine consists of a dynamic, seasonally inspired menu showcasing local ingredients with an emphasis on farm-to-table. The restaurant will boast a lively bar fueled by culinary inspired cocktails, regional spirits and beers, and BC centric wine list. As Honey Salt is not located on the Casino floor, kids are welcome!

                                                                                  Our waiter was excellent. The food was good. They made an effort to accommodate special diets. It took 2 hours to finish the tea service, which is longer than we had initially expected (1.5h would have been better). They did bring out a candle in my mum’s crepe, since it was her birthday, and that was a really nice touch. But the room was much too loud for afternoon tea. I’ve been here in the evening, and the music was actually quieter then. If you want to go for afternoon tea, make sure they sit you in the lounge area and NOT the dining room. Overall I give this afternoon tea an average rating, which would have been higher had it not been for the noise volume in the room.

                                                                                  Sadly, my first time. Food substandard, clearly sat under salamanders for long enoph for catcup to create. Slow inefficient service. Clearly insufficient training. I won't be back.

                                                                                  Beautiful place but the service was very slow. I say for almost 15 minutes before even getting water. I asked for hollandaise on the side and it was included but I ate it anyway. The food didn’t sit well so hopefully it was just my tummy and not a food handling issue.

                                                                                  Everything was great again. One complaint would be the Kale Caesar salad had no Kale and was very small. Not worth the money at all. Everything else was great and our server Alex was awesome

                                                                                  Great service. The waiter was amazing The food ( and we ordered 5 dishes) for the most part was “meh”. We wanted a good/great meal. The flavour was barely adequate, the plating dismal and the vision in each dish was often confusing. The one saving dish was the halibut. Tasted very good. The plating was done by a kindergarten kid. We would go somewhere else before returning.
