Hermoso lugar, servicio amigable y eficiente, comida muy rica, todo salió a tiempo, probamos el baba ganush, mejillones y bacio otro nivel, probamos un par de cócteles muy ricos y uno de los mejores martinis que he bebido, súper recomendado 👌

Es un lugar totalmente recomendable fui con unos amigos y el lugar esta con un ambiente muy agradable y no se diga el servicio y la comida de lo mejor que probé en la Isla. La ensalada fresca y la pesca del día deliciosa. La coctelería una locura " No me llamo Javier " lo tienen que probar. Excelente lugar para cena romántica o cena con amigos coqueta.

Hermoso lugar, y hermosa experiencia. Cumplió las expectativas de nuestro aniversario, y la atención del mesero fue increíble, amable, atento y muy instruido en el menú y en la coctelería. Super recomendable.

The starter we had was not tasty at all and the pork belly I had as a main entry had too much salt. On the other hand the risotto was very good very tasty and well cooked. The ambience in the place is good in general, the music was great. The staff was very friendly.

El lugar y la atmósfera están excelentes, muy bonito el lugar y la atención a los detalles. Lástima la comida, pedí el pulpo a las brasas y la cocción muy mala, el pulpo duro y chicloso. También pedí el risotto de zanahoria y no tenía buen sabor. La atención es buena, pero desgraciadamente tenía altas expectativas del restaurante por como se ve el lugar y por ello lo elegí para celebrar mi cumpleaños y sólo fue una mala experiencia culinaria. Terminó siendo de esos restaurantes bonitos que su comida no es la mejor y ¿A quién le gusta pagar mucho por comida que no está excelente?

Excelente atención y ambiente, comida rica, precios un poco elevados para la porción. El créeme brûlée de guayaba es lo más rico que probamos en toda la isla.

I had a great time. I dined alone and the staff made me feel so comfortable. I attempted to view the menu on the app prior to going but I kept getting a blank page. So I decided to go anyway because the food pictures I saw on open table looked appealing. I was a bit disappointed because the menu had changed however everything that I ordered on the new menu was delicious! I’ll def be back to try more options on the menu.

I’m sad to say the food was dreadful. We waited an hour for pasta and over cooked, chewy mussels. Really disappointing. The ambience and cocktails were great but the food was sun standard. Have some cocktails and starters. Don’t waste your time or money on the mains.

Food was very nice, but the waiter was ver aggressive in asking for a high tip. This was out most expensive mail in Mexico and the experience was ruined by the waiter.

Beautiful space. Overall good food. Service was terrible. Even in the setting of the island vibe where things are always slower, when paying these prices for a meal, I expect a bit more attentiveness. Instead we were mostly ignored.

Pretty disappointed that we booked a reservation for 5:30pm thru OpenTable and when we arrived at the host informed us that they had decided to delay opening until 7pm. So, we went somewhere else.

We went to have dinner at around 7:30pm and the place was already loud. It was January 1 so there were few choices open so we decided to stay but we asked that they lower the music since it was soooo loud, specially when it was not even 8pm. We had an amazing elderly person and it was very frustrating since he couldn’t hear anything and we had to yell to have a conversation. The waiters also explained that the owner wants the music very loud. We tried speaking to the person in charge of the music and they jus plainly Ignored us. I asked to speak to the owner, who never came. The food wasn’t great. They had already ran out of fish for the day and did not even give you chips or anything while waiting for drinks and the rest of the food. Awful experience!

It could have been a good experience except for the service. It took us 45 minutes to get a glass of white wine. How’s that for service? We tried to cancel our meals but were told we could not. Received our appetizers after another significant wait. Then wanted for another 50 minutes w no communication from the waiter. After waiting another 30 minutes we were told they canceled the entrees at our request. The service was both horrendous and pretentious. Save yourself the time and head to El Zapata, a much better experience.

The atmosphere was very nice and intimate. We both started with cocktails, which were excellent, and then had a good bottle of Mexican wine. I had the homemade pasta with shrimp, which we both thought was very good, but my wife’s ribeye steak was a bit over cooked. The wait staff was attentive and very friendly, and even brought us glasses of champagne at the end of dinner as they overheard us saying it was our honeymoon. Overall we would recommend this spot and may go back again before we leave for more cocktails.

I have been going to BASICO for many years. I love it! Very chic place with amazing vibe. Food and service are great! Only issue is that the last time we were there on Monday night the owner came and turned the music so loud we could not talk to each other. We like to party and have fun but would like to be able to hear each other when we sit at a small round table.

Pro: great decor…that’s about it Con(s): our mole tacos were cold, the salmon was under cooked and when we sent it back and asked for it to be taken off our check our waiter glared at us and refused to The service is slow and wait staff is rude. We ordered quickly upon arriving and it took an hour for our appetizer to arrive and another hour after to get our mains… Our mains arrived two hours after we ordered, without much communication from staff about the delay. The octopus was good but the ribeye was 75% fat and disappointing. Service was nothing special and actually lacking. We asked the server to remove the ribeye from the bill in the end due to our poor experience. Shame it was a disappointing meal as we were really excited to try it after seeing the decor and vibe from the exterior.

La comida medianamente bien, habiann hablado muy bien del lugar pero no fue como esperábamos. Reservamos con días de anticipación para una mesa en buena vista y no lo hicieron ni checaron nada. El servicio suuuuper lento tanto para darnos la carta como para las bebidas. La comida nada fuera de lo comun
