Please be advised. Friday and Saturday's dinner service is Exclusive Omakase experience only. Omakase chef tasting menu is $175 Per Person (price does NOT include beverage and gratuity). Each section will take 120 minutes. (4:30pm to 6:30, 7:30 to 9:30)
For all parties, 100% of cost per person + tax will be charged at the time of booking. Cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the reservation date will not be refunded. Cancellations made before the 72-hour time period will be refunded 50% of total cost per person + tax.

Reduction in the number of guests in the party are subject to cancellation charge.
Please be on time to enjoy all the courses. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
Omakase means a meal consisting of dishes selected by the chef.
Chef will create some courses with seasonal, and best available ingredients.

Please call Hikari (530) 564-4356 to request Tuesday to Thursday night dinner. Walk-ins are welcome during the weekday Mini Omakase service.

The food is beautiful and delicious. The service is attentive and friendly. It is definitely the best restaurant in Davis.

A wonderful dining experience. For those who love sushi, Hikari has the real deal, and a masterful chef to deliver it. Backed up by well-rounded staff, Chef delivered one of the best Omakase experiences I've had. I enjoy sushi, but Omakase is a performance and what a performance it was. Every step taking into account the previous serving leading into the next sip or bite resulting in an ovation of flavor. A memorable culinary performance by far, Bravo Chefs Sithu and Zin

I keep coming back to this restaurant for the extraordinary quality of the food. Watching the chefs in action and being able to interact with them is an added bonus

It was an excellent experience, and the service was truly outstanding and appreciated. Even to the point of noting that my wife is left-handed, and serving everything from then on in the appropriate orientation. The only negative impression that sticks with me is the fees that are added on top of the expense of the main event. For example, a "mandatory" gratuity is tacked on. And of course there is no such thing as a gratuity that is mandatory, so this becomes an additional tax. I understand that this is an expensive experience, and that the skilled chefs and servers need to be paid appropriately. And I WANT to pay them appropriately. So please just charge for the experience what it takes to pay everybody fairly. There is no reason to pretend that this is a "gratuity."

The omakase service was intimate and delightful. The food was superb and the chefs and staff were welcoming and a pleasure to interact with. My partner and I had a wonderful time.
